I have this theory that Snyder notation was invented for pencil-paper solving. I call my practice, "Not-quite Snyder notation", and cornermark three in a cell. It picks up a lot of things I would miss otherwise. Also, I (usually) start by mechanically cornermarking cells beginning (usually) with 1. Block 6's 2 gets placed early, and it seems to damage the puzzle.
9:00 Oh so many people do, sometimes even deliberately just for the fun and the laughs.
24:10 This was definitely harder than the third puzzle. I didn't notice block 8's 58 pair before I placed the 5, for example.
I will corner mark three. But only if they are in a straight line.
00:09:51 - clean solve!😊
For me you're "Specialist of The Year" in ignoring three 2s looking intoo the same box😊
I had about the same time as yesterday, but that was after seeing your video, so it wasn't exactly a blind solve :) (although I think that I followed a different path). Thank you once again for this series, and for the bonus videos.
3:49 for me. That was very straight forward.
I usually double tap (click) on a digit to see if I have more of that digit and to quickly scan the grid for the highlighted digits.
I had roughly the same time as yesterday but this one felt harder somehow.
03:52 a little harder but still pretty fun!! Thank you 😀
Struggled a bit on this one seeing a few things, but still was able to finish in 5:12 (conflict checker off), so not too far off the expected time in the competition. 🙂 Many thanks to BremSter again for this great series!
9:28 today. Getting a bit harder I suppose. :D
That wasn't too bad. I definitely need to work on scanning.
10:28 to solve.
5:53 with no notes
14:21 on this one .. can't see patterns. so bad at it.
