In general, these work by constantly cutting the grass. It only cuts a small bit at a time, so the cut grass is very fine and falls down into the lawn. I've had a 430x for just under a year now and have never had to collect or rake any grass clippings.
if you let is cut daily you wont have any grass clippings. They are so tiny that they decompose before the next cut. After a month of running the 450x I have zero thatch on my lawn. You can always the dark brown soil under the grass. These machines are awesome.
@@victorleon3280 After using this for more than a month I will tell you this is a much better experience than the landscaping companies. The heavy machines the landscaping companies use end up destroying the lawn overtime. This thing will not only make your grass look top notch but also improve the lawn surface overtime.
I think this is a neat concept but i just dont understand the market need for this. People with small backyards can zip over their yard in 15 min with a puah mower or $15 bucks to the neighbors kid. And people with big yards will want to use their own mower to keep the lines straight and just enjoy making their lawn nice instead of having a robot that just goes around mindlesly. Most of these videos looks like their being used in little backyards in europe. Maybe mowing yards is a cultural difference we in America have compared to them. Anybody that has one of these i would be curious to hear your input.
My automower is up to 93 hours, just a baby. How many hours has you oldest lasted? Husqvarna says they are good for 10+ years, but do they really know that? The 2010 models are a lot different than the current ones. Are those ones still around? And the hours per week or year could vary a lot by user. Thoughts?
lol I just wanted to reply to your comment - spot on. I dont know how anyone could justify spending $4k on something that just bops around aimlessly. In EU there are several affordable models that use RTK, and there are several more emerging that might land in the US (assuming they arent kickstarter scams). The days of paying $3k for a lawn tractor or paying someone $3k a year to mow your lawn will be gone soon. Also funny how all of the robo mowers have these pathetic little front wheels, and only an 8" cutting area. This already looks like a dinosaur to me.
It’s $5,000 dollars. Better get insurance on it for being stolen. And yes I can pick it up put it in my pickup in less than 30 seconds and I can disable the GPS in under 5 minutes.
This one will be my replacement model. Only problem is my 450x refuses to do a bad job or stop working.

Awesome channel and video thank you
Are you going to do a comparison between the AWD, the Ambrogio and the Husky 430X?
How to collect cut grass in one place. Do we need to move around to collect cutted grass and place it in bag?

5 grand so I can sit on my deck drinking a beer and watch it mow the lawn... Yeah, i'm in.
Wake me up when they can also spray the weeds!
Does it leave patches?
Ugh I want one so bad
What's the price on these? My 450X decided to lose connection last July and I've not been able to control it with my phone since
$4,299.99 currently
@@EshlemaniaTV cool. Thanks
When my mowers lose connection I just remove them from the app and repair. So far has worked every time for me
@@EshlemaniaTV I can have my landscape guys come out for 4 years. It’s nice though.

Most people cut the grass walking behind the mower, how will you keep this from being stolen when not watched?
They have GOS tracking on them. Owner's can track them through the phone app and see where they are. Also, Husqvarna has ways of tracking them.

My 450XH runs for 6 hours on a single charge.
Lmao no way do I want one of these. I enjoy cutting.
Too bad it don’t lay stripes lol. Just aimlessly ping pongs around a yard cutting it

They spend this kind of money on this lawnmower but they refuse to spend a small amount on some Weed and Feed and a Spreader !? lol
Will the weed & feed or the spreader mow everything after it's applied? If there's more grass and less clover, there's still stuff to be mowed.

Not sure where you are from, but the MSRP on these is $3,999.99 not $5K. Also, they have more than one way of tracking the AWD models.
Showing a $4000 mower with AWD in a bsaic backyard 🙄
That type of grass or weeds doesn’t need to be mowed. It will look better if you let it grow up to make look like a jungle .
Would have been better off spending the $$ on getting rid of the weeds first. That lawn is terrible.
Perhaps, before investing in such a unit, a small investment in some weed & feed might be considered.
