Diving a Flattened Shipwreck in the Bahamas (Does it still look like a ship?)

- Jonathan and Cameraman Tim explore a remote wreck in the Bahamas known only as the "Sugar Wreck" since it was carrying a load of molasses when it sank. But the wreck is only in 20 feet of water, so storms have taken a toll on the wreck over the years. What will it look like now?

Hi Jonathan. It's my dream to actually experience diving the blue world for real! Thank you bigtime for creating these videos for me to see how beautiful the ocean is! Keep it up! Let's all work to protect this very beautiful ocean!
Man I don't know what it is but I love this episode
Really cool encounter with the porcupine fish. The reef shark was beautiful
I was a active diver for years. Ive taken a long break. Inspiring video time to get back in the water. Great content! Great channel!
Third! Finally! I’ve been waiting for eight years!!!
Liked the little bit of history about the shipwreck and I agree porcupine fish are just too adorable with that little perma-smile on their little faces

I love this channel it tells me about sea creatures and animals!!!
I’ve had molasses before. I don’t really remember the taste, but it kinda tasted sweet. I don’t know why I brought this up, probably because your buddy mentioned molasses.
Your channel is growing fast i m happy for u. i used to be depressed but your channel saved me. It was therapeutic. I am still recovering. My dream is to dive with you. I am your biggest fan. Love from india❤💚💛💙
Life is too short to be depressed. Get out there and live life to the fullest!

i've been watching you guys for 3 years, your videos are phenomenal
nurse shark: hi Johnathan bird how are ya doin but im scared of your camera
Wonderfull, the wreck is like Natures sanctuary, great you guy's can appreciate this (you even placed the stone exactly as it lied) I like the part about fish, they're so important in the food chain, great they can find such place to thrive.
I loved watching porcupine fish and french angel fish...😊 Thanks to you ...
Glad you enjoyed it!
What a dive spot ,just amazing...
Thank you for taking us there.....
I got recommendation to watch one of them videos week ago... I'm caught like a fish... It's so fantastic and I'm always amazed about how pretty the view is. I also love how nice the voice is and how much information you get. I always loved diving but in my country there's not much where to😂 except pools which is boring. Atm I will dive together with you guys through my phone screen. But I will one day get Holidays to try diving in tropical sea's👍 its just amazing how mesmerizing it is🐟🦈🐙
Watching this while smiling😍
Everytime you set sail aboard your favorite dive boat, The Dolphin Dream, I have to listen to Lee Ritenour's song Dolphin Dreams.
Amazing work. I really enjoy watching good made videos like this one 🙏
You should explore a plane wreck!
He already did. Loon for 'kwajalein airplane graveyard'
This is so cool. Big fan. Lots of love from india. Hope to see your reply❤❤
The background music and narration about creatures is beauful
Zimmy here. Thanks for commenting on my music. It was fun to do! Keep watching Blue World!
what an absolutely awesome and stunning video good job Mr. Bird and crew ! ! !
Many thanks!
Another fantabulously terrific episode of life in the Blue... What a treat! ❤️❤️
He Jonathan, I always wanted to scuba dive with sharks since i wached your videos so your job is my dreamjob. But I live in the Netherlands... (you your channel is going International!) In the Netherlands are not any sharks or good dive sites, would you go to a scuba dive lesson in a pool where I live or should i take lesson at Freeport, Bahamas (where the sharks live)?
PS you are really REALLY inspiring
PPS oh forgot 1 thing, do you need a special scuba card or something to go dive with sharks?
Hi, I know I`m not Jonathan but I would recommend you NOT to take a lesson near a shark point. You don't know how YOU will react. Do your lessons in calmer areas so you can concentrate on your training. It does not have to be a pool just a calmer dive site. Just a good advice my friend...kindly regards and have fun !
@@DiveDiscover i have done some research and in the Bahamas the shark dive sites are not near any of the scuba discover sites
Gewoon in NL doen en daarna reizen en dan kan je overal duiken. Heb ik ook gedaan!
@@semh7038 dankjewel!
@@tijmenbakker1470 Does it have to be the Bahamas? Check out the Canary islands in the near of you. Awesome and calm dives. I got certificated there...
Nice to see cameraman Tim get a bit more video time in this episode. Props to Bill for being cameraman's cameraman! You have an awesome crew. 😊
"Cameraman of the Cameraman Bill" that's catchy! :-)
Now this my kind of water, warm, to dive in.
Thanks for the video guys,
Chris, Zackie, from Missouri
Very awesome video!! I wanna dive some wrecks, that would be awesome!!!
What a beautiful video on marine world....!
What a beautiful place to dive, was a delight to watch in high def. The co-narrative added some variety to the normal proceedings. This was a classic Blue World video in theme, I enjoyed it. Thanks!
Love his shirt lol made me laugh 😂
You have got the best crew
Love from Bangladesh 💓
Thanks to u I know how much the ocean is importante to all of us
Such awesomeness Jonathan. My 11 year old daughter starts her first scuba class in a couple of days. My hope is that she, my 13 year old son and I can go see places like this to share together.
Diving with your kids is so much fun!! Our kids are like fish. They have no idea how lucky they are to scuba dive at their age. I would have done anything to scuba dive at age 11.
@@BlueWorldTV Yes sir. My son and I have done some Florida springs and the Keys. We had a blast. I used to watch Jacques Cousteau when I was a kid and dreamed of someday swimming with the fishes.
@James Owsley I'll have to check that out.
I love these videos. It gives me the opportunity to enjoy places I can never afford to dive at. It’s because of you I plan on going to the Georgia aquarium and dive. Thank you so much.
Have fun!
Wow. It's amazing to see so many large mangrove and yellowtail snappers together and not acting spooked by divers. Unless you're in one of the fishing exclusion zones, you don't see that in South Florida anymore!
thank you. I needed that. its been an all around crummy day. those porcupine fish put a smile on my face. maybe someday.
Love the porcupine fish!!!
I hope you will dive the Thistlegorm or the Rosalie Moller once - They are really fantastic
What a magical video - truly magnificent! Everything from tour shirt till the stunning quality. Thank you
This was amazing with camera man Tim! Love your videos! Always learn a little bit more about the ocean when I watch them!
Jonathan my Mom and her hubby just returned today from a week long cruise in The Bahamas, including stops in Nassau and Freeport. And on another quick note it'd be really fun to meet you someday, you've expanded my knowledge base quite a lot!
Interesting... great video!!! 🙂✌️👍
Can you do a video on the Wreck trek dives in Florida (ft lauderdale and west palm Beach) its a drift dive and you go from wreck to wreck, hence the name wreck trek. And in west palm Beach there's a Rolls Royce sunken down here (prob full of growth by now) please film those dives!!! The car isn't on the Wreck trek but its down there. Make sure they back the boat up down current so that when you descend you don't miss the ship... The current will blow you past it, and miss it if you dock right on top where the ship is
the videos are amazing... i just wait for the videos to come
The water is so crystal clear .. I most definitely want to do this dive and that too on dolphin dream 😁😍
You should!
Lovely! When will you come visit Tobago?
Blue world is beautiful
I love this video .
I love your VIDEOS Jonathan 🙂
Thank you!!
I love your Videos.❤👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Wowww awesome!! Next week is my PADI course from my local dive shop, so excited!
Awesome!! WOO HOO!
Very much clear video.
Thanks from Bangladesh.
I love reef sharks and they are super friendly
Blueworld=jurassicworld (it’s beatuful)
The one thing I love about this show is that it I have a big problem in my family which is a big BIG secret that I can’t tell anyone , this usually helps me get it off my mind and I like to think I’m diving in the great big sea
wow those porcupine fish are just awesome. they were observing you guys, i think they are pretty smart. And that reef shark was so beautiful. That was an awesome dive thanks for the video. 😍
That is truly an awesome site. Lots of beautiful fish and the shark as well. You should check out the wrecks of the "Shake em" and "Veronica" in Grenada. The "Shake em" was carrying cement from Trinidad (where I'm from) to Grenada when she sank.
Thanks Blue World.
Awesome footage of the Porcupine Puffers, one of my favorite fish's next to the Spiny Burrfish.
3 words: Lake Baikal, Amphipods.

Hey looks it's my house :D
Man I wish I was in some of the places you've been ;w;
