I am a vietnamese born and raised in Ho Chi Minh city. As a kid I have always wanted to go abroad and live the "western style" life, as I moved to the US last year for college, I realized how much I love this place. I'm also a motorcycle enthusiast and I have done several trips in Vietnam. This series was my comfort space, I really appreciate you guys for doing this. I think you guys really fit in with this place, and suggest you guys move to Vietnam completely? No one have really done a van life series in Vietnam so it would be very interesting to see how it would turn out. If you two ever move to Vietnam, please hit me up, I would love to do another trip like this with you guys. There's the whole North West area of Vietnam that you two never got to see so. Anyways, thankyou for the series and looking forward to the next one!
Thanks so much for watching us and taking the time to write us this lovely comment. We would love to bring our van over to Thailand and Vietnam to travel there one day😍 we would be so up for the challenge! Thank you, we will be 100% returning to Vietnam in the future. Thanks so much again🥰
As someone who has ridden motorcycles, my entire life, I know exactly how you felt when you said goodbye to the Honda. You really did a great job showing all of us Viet Nam.
Hello from Australia! Just came across your Vietnam trip and binge watched all episodes. What an adventure! Vietnam by motorbike off the beaten track is a bucket list item after visiting with my husband in 2022. Taking inspiration from you both! ❤
Life is a journey filled with adventure. It's about pushing your limits, expanding your horizons, and stepping beyond the boundaries of comfort. Explore new territories, immerse yourself in diverse cultures, and challenge your fears head-on. Riding a motorbike across Vietnam, from end to end, is a profound and unforgettable odyssey. As a Vietnamese of Chinese descent, my father once described Vietnam as a "留人州," a phrase I didn't fully grasp at the time. However, as I now indulge in foreigner's Vietnam adventure videos on RUclips, including yours, I've come to understand... Vietnam truly is "留人州."
From vietnam with love. There is no distance between the language, skin and what we love. We're waiting for you guys comeback. Goodbye, keep safe and see you again
You guys did a great job on this this series and I enjoyed going on the "ride" with you through all the ups and downs (downs make the best stories later on in life, though). You will definitely need to come back and do the Ha Giang Loop, which many say is the best experience of their life. I think taking a month to do the northern parts of Vietnam would be amazing, especially if you go on AND off the beaten path. Since Martha hated that sketchy bridge, you should take her on the dinosaur spine (Ta Xua Nature Reserve). You can do a homestay at Ba Be Lake and maybe do a tour if you want (I saw a British couple do this and they said it was the best tour they ever took). Paddy Doyle showed some beautiful and interesting places in northern Vietnam last year.
Thank you for your comment! Yes we’d love to come back and do the Ha Giang Loop. We loved getting off the beaten path and will be doing more travel just like that in other countries! Thanks for the tips, we will be sure to be back!
Silence is golden or so the song says 🙂 electrolytes are great, one tip if feeling yukky is to take some powdered charcoal really good for the tummy 🙂 cant wait for the new adventure...Great guys 🙂
Mitch you are a lucky dude getting to ride the bike through that scenery, and having Martha on as your pillion with such faith in your ability to deaL with the chaos and mostly cos she's Fit, 😊
What a pity, you should explore more about the Ha Giang loop, an interesting route when traveling by motorbike in Vietnam. Anyway, thanks for coming to Vietnam, hope to see you again. ❤❤❤
Thank you for showing Vietnam in such an authentic way! Loved the journey you guys took us through. As an Australian with Vietnamese heritage, you've inspired me to do something like this one day and explore more of my Vietnamese heritage!
Hey you please stay in Vietnam, don't go anywhere, when the world is full of turmoil, Vietnam will be a safe home for you for a long time, you can be a youtuber, a food reviewer, a travel guide, or maybe teach English or work online. After that you can go everywhere
Thank you for the series. I've been to Vietnam before but did the hop on hop off bus from the China border to Ho Chi Min. I'm planning to do the motorbike trip soon, but want to take a bit of a different spin to it compared to your trip. I actually just looked up a video about buying a bike in vietnam and stumbled upon you guys. One advice for you guys... aside Vietnam. If the Euro van trip comes to an end consider Australia not just for travel but for the opportunities to live in Australia. A marketing manager and an electrician is a solid foundation as an income. Also since electricians are needed, residency and citizenship is possible. Something to consider down the road.
Really enjoyed this series, highs and lows in adventures are living your life well done.maybe do same thing in Thailand top to bottom even better following the borders and coastline alway around see the rural areas it's fantastic.the friendliness and the smiling till it hurts is way Thailand used to be also used to be even cheaper than Vietnam cheers
Brilliant adventure and nicely made vids with great effort.. Working on biking from Singapore to Hanoi real soon and will definitely look you awesome fellas up for guidance apart from the vids/links you've already kindly shared :) Ray
I am really glad you guys got back to your little van safe, Matt handled handing the motorbike back better than I thought 😄 almost become a part of him, it kept you safe and got you guys there.... I am headed to Ho Chi Minh city on Thursday for 6 days, I will binge watch your journey for tips at least how to say hello and what to eat to 🤣 Take a break have a sleep in your next trip will come to you. 👍
It’s sad to see your Vietnam by motorbike trip has ended. However all great thing must to come to an end. I hope this is not going to be the last time you guys come to Vietnam. There’s still so much more to see an experience in Vietnam. Island life, Beach life, Island hopping, the Mekong delta not the generic parts though, Sapa, the Hà Giang loop and so much more also it’s very affordable compared to other places. Good Luck on your future travels but remember to come back and enjoy the other parts of Vietnam 🇻🇳. 🍻🍻👍
Vietnam would be very beautiful and developed if it wasn't for 1000 years of Chinese domination. And there has been civil law enforcement and devastating cosmetic empires in the past. But we Vietnamese people are very friendly and willing to let go of past grudges to move towards a better future. Welcome to Vietnam ❤
Such a great series! Completely understand how you feel. I did HCMC to Hanoi 2 months ago, also fitting in the entire north, which resulted in 4000km on the bike. Such an amazing country and experience. Your series just brought back a lot of memories, thank you for that ❤ . Keep up the great content, you're a lovely couple!
You two are fantastic! I’ve watched & subscribed to your videos since day 1 and am really impressed by your adventures & resilience. Wishing you all the best for whatever comes. I’ll be watching… ❤
Vietnam will always be there and and many more beautiful countries so you can keep repeating your love for travel. You guys are young and have all the future there to use and explore. I've done a lot of travelling but not enough I move to Australia from England but I'm planning on hitting the road again at 48 I'm quitting my job
Awwwe the emotion in you both was obvious… loved your travels, can’t wait to see what’s next and Martha look how your hairs grown since the beginning 😃
Enjoyed watching your trip. I done it with my 2 boys in 2022 it really brought back brilliant memories. Currently planning new trip for 2024 and have been inspired by some of you’d route, wishing you all the best Ps also have a VW camper xx
You two guys have come so far during the trip with fabulous narration and editing.. I’m going to miss this journey as I’ve felt every bump in the road. You have both grown with confidence and I can’t wait to see where you go next? Have a look at those happy days who are in India at the moment Just a thought xx
Thanks for this 8 ép. of you trip in Viet Nam ... I will do the same in 2025 ... I will take 3 months ... Hope the visa 90 days are going to be on place ....
I’ve loved following this trip! Such an amazing adventure with memories you’ll remember forever 😊 I really would love to do a trip like this..although I’ve never ridden a bike!lol looking for to what’s next!!
You can do it..."Tim and Fin" were the first ones I saw do the motorbiking across Vietnam and Fin had to learn to ride her own bike halfway through since the two of them were too heavy for one bike. She did an amazing job. Tia from "One Pack Wanderers" also learned to ride for their motorbike trip. Keep in mind, both of them were doing it illegally (Americans, Canadians, Australians and any country that hasn't signed the 1968 Vienna Convention are technically not allowed to ride there...plus, neither women had motorcycle licenses from their home country), but that's not stopped a lot of people from doing it. Just be careful and carry an extra wallet for "coffee money" in case you're caught.
I understand your feelings. SE Asia and the tropics just grab your soul. I always found it difficult to leave Malaysia and Borneo for Britain, back to mediocrity after the colour of Malaysia, even Kuala Lumpur. 100 plus is the ideal isotonic drink for the region. Looking forward to your next adventure 😀
Wow, have you guys grown! Not only in subscribers but within yourselves I think and this is what travel can do for you. As you packed up the bike and road off it reminded me of many trips I have done across Thailand and Bali and Vietnam, would be lying if I said I did not feel a little sad myself, because it does mean that our time with you on this venture has also come to an end. What will I do with my quiet Monday mornings at work now? Your openess and honestly and just genuinely beautiful personalities have endeared you to many it seems. Cannot wait to see what comes next. Thanks a bunch, it's been a blast! Forrister 🙏 💕
What a nice comment, thanks so much for following us for this series and we’re so excited to bring the same energy and same travel adventures this year continuing on! Thanks again!🙌🏼❤️
Awesome series - genuinely loved every episode. Myself and my daughter will be doing a similar route later this year, and your input will be invaluable with our planning. Don't underestimate your talents as presenters, narrators, accomplished vloggers, and above all your ability to portray real-life on the road in such a wonderful way. Good luck to you both in your future travels.
Thanks so much for your kind comment, really made me smile! 🥰 I hope you and your daughter enjoy your travels and if you ever have any questions please feel free to DM us on Instagram and we’d be more than happy to help! ❤️
Brilliant series, thank you! I usually can't watch this format, but you two are so likeable. I'm about to do a similar trip and have a few questions: Is this a safe trip for a solo traveller who doesn't speak Vietnamese? what is your biggest piece of advice? any difficulties with the bike?
i hope you will come back travel vietnam 🇻🇳 again, i really to see guy and next time you should come to Hagiang and Dalat, It is very beautiful ❤ , thank you for coming in vietnam ❤❤❤
I just watched your last two episodes from my hotel room in Dalat, I was so excited watching your first episodes as my trip was coming up soon but now that I’m here living it riding by motorbike in Vietnam for two weeks the busy traffic scenes look normal. Thanks for a great series and interested to see what you do next.
Thank you for visiting Vietnam! I'm glad you guys enjoyed the journey. I hope to see you guys again. If you have another chance, please do the Ha Giang loop.
Woohoo you guys did it. Yall should do Ha giang Loop or Cao Bang loop (bigger loop) in the future or do motorbike ride from HCMC to Kien giang province then take a ferry to Phu Quoc island
I've been following you since you went up the mont blanc kindof time. Here in France it's sunny with cold north wind will blow for at least 14 days based on the weather forcast, so at the mediterranean coast, it's only 5-8 degrees at night as the wind comes from the Sweden. Generally, the time in continental europe varies from very cold north winds to warm south winds, the temperature changes by 10 degrees over the space of 2 days, the average being about 10 degrees at night near the med coast at the moment, and in may it goes to about 13 and and june 16.... I love your videos although i will admit that they are not pro vlog , i've seen dudes that did a filming cours,e they just pick up a camera and a hot girl, go to the tropics and it;s like a gopro advert video they get millions subscribers. The editing is really cool and i love your adventures walking about lol, ruclips.net/video/2G24lOF_QIM/видео.html that's pretty badass worht a look. see you!!!
Aw, it's over, a bittersweet ending. I've enjoyed this series, and thanks for sharing your journey and showing me places I had never seen before. Best wishes on your next adventure/endeavor.
when you travel, I suggest looking for hydration powder to go with your water because you're not just losing water through sweat but your body needs electrolytes and sodium as well. thats why some drinks have that weird lightly salty taste to it
What a series! ❤ Would be amazing to see you guys with a proper ADV Bike and some gear, traveling the world. Maybe it's worth taking a look at the Suzuki V-strom 250 and Kawasaki Versys 300. 😁 Anyway, cheers from Brazil.
I have loved this series, and whilst I'll never be able to do this trip myself I've enjoyed watching. It's got me wondering if I will be able to convince my wife to ride pillion for Hue to Hoi An in the summer, which I see Style Motorbikes offer as an option with them taking our bags too, maybe doing it over a couple of days. Back to Van Life, as fellow van owners I'll be following with interest now I've discovered your channel via Vietnam research.
Thank you for watching! That would be a great little trip to do in Vietnam and Style Motorbikes would be more than happy to help, make sure to let them know that we recommended them, although we don't earn anything I think it's great to show that their publicity in our videos is rubbing off as they were so nice to us! Thanks so much for supporting and following our adventures!
@@TheJammyGits I'll definitely mention you, looks like the wife might be coming around to the idea. Are you back to van life now? I'm putting off installing my campervan rooflight today, hence being here 😂
Sadly the journey ends, but hopefully you gained much from it and will carry it forward to other adventures waiting for you. Regarding electrolytes and such, try drinking coconut juice or if you can, look for the preserved salted lime soda that's in Vietnam (chanh muoi is it's Vietnamese name). Some people call it natural Gatorade.
You two are so lovely! And so brave to post the less than glamorous moments. What month were you there? I'm planning to spend a few months in Vietnam with my son riding motorbikes after he finishes school.
Hey, I just watched the whole series, I loved it! I'm just about to do the exact same, my plane leaves on wednesday and I plan to start my journey on saturday. If you had to give three or four must-do's for traveling from Saigon to Hanoi by motorbike, what would they be? Also, how many days did it take you in total to get to Hanoi?
amazing travel.i come from china,i have a bike.but our country is so huge and i dont have much for this.one day,i will take my girlfriend to do this. hope you guys make more video. i will follow.you guys are very lovely!

Hey you
please stay in Vietnam, don't go anywhere, when the world is full of turmoil, Vietnam will be a safe home for you for a long time, you can be a youtuber, a food reviewer, a travel guide, or maybe teach English or work online.
After that you can go everywhere
What an incredible trip, you two are so likable.

Something to consider down the road.

I'm sad it's come to an end. We leave for Vietnam next month as having it cancelled due to covid in 2020. Will follow your journey moving forward
Thanks so much for watching & hopefully continuing to watch our adventures. We hope you have a lovely time in Vietnam & enjoy every minute!
Woohoo you guys did it. Yall should do Ha giang Loop or Cao Bang loop (bigger loop) in the future or do motorbike ride from HCMC to Kien giang province then take a ferry to Phu Quoc island
Yes, we'd love to go back and do that one day!
Fantastic vlog really enjoyed following you guys
Thank you!
❤It has been brilliant watching you both on your trip lovely views am going next month for 2 weeks to Hanoi can't wait to see some of the lovely views
Hope you enjoy it! Have fun!!
Thanks so much for watching!
You guys did a great job. You kept it real. Having been to Vietnam a few times I can’t wait to get back there in May. Thanks again guys
Our pleasure! We hope you have a lovely time in Vietnam😁
Awesome, you guys made it to Hanoi 🎉. It is always a bit sad when the trip ends. 😂 Enjoy your time in Vietnam.
It was very sad to leave! Thanks so much for watching!
when you travel, I suggest looking for hydration powder to go with your water because you're not just losing water through sweat but your body needs electrolytes and sodium as well. thats why some drinks have that weird lightly salty taste to it
Thanks for the tip!
What a series! ❤
Would be amazing to see you guys with a proper ADV Bike and some gear, traveling the world. Maybe it's worth taking a look at the Suzuki V-strom 250 and Kawasaki Versys 300. 😁
Anyway, cheers from Brazil.
Maybe one day! That would be amazing if money allowed us😍
Oh and Morocco is nice this time of year 😊
We’d love to take the van to Morocco 😍🙌🏼
Good
dont know what to feel now this ended but cant wait for your next adventure cheers !
Us too, it’s been such an adventure. Thank you! ❤️
You guys should take a ride on Ha Giang loop some day. The sceneries there are absolutely gorgeous
It’s on our list to come back and do one day!
@@TheJammyGits Im waiting :D
you guys are amazing!
Thank you!
I'm putting off installing my campervan rooflight today, hence being here 😂
@@66Trips Thank you! Yes, we have a new video out tomorrow sharing our return to the van in Croatia 🎉haha, ooh that's a big job! Good Luck with it🤞
Sadly the journey ends, but hopefully you gained much from it and will carry it forward to other adventures waiting for you. Regarding electrolytes and such, try drinking coconut juice or if you can, look for the preserved salted lime soda that's in Vietnam (chanh muoi is it's Vietnamese name). Some people call it natural Gatorade.
We gained so much from it and can’t wait to bring the same type of energy and adventure to our ongoing trips this year! Thank you🙌🏼
You two are so lovely! And so brave to post the less than glamorous moments. What month were you there? I'm planning to spend a few months in Vietnam with my son riding motorbikes after he finishes school.
thank you so much! We travelled there last January/early feb!
@@TheJammyGits oh goodness, one would expect good weather then?! Poor you. All the best for your future adventures!
Go to Greece!! So many great spots and not to far from Croatia. Thats my two cents anyways. Happy Travels
Thanks for the tip!😁
Good job
amazing travel.i come from china,i have a bike.but our country is so huge and i dont have much for this.one day,i will take my girlfriend to do this. hope you guys make more video. i will follow.you guys are very lovely!

rất tiếc tôi là Fan Manchester United ❤❤❤❤❤
Hi, Good Lock from the Canary Islands
Hey, thanks!
Ha Giang loop next time then :D
For sure!
Regarding dehyration...Bike riding even in fair weather will dehydrate you , as the air passes over you it takes water from you.
