When she is real she has to face the reality of being held at gunpoint, and a degree of uncertainty (specifically concerning romantic relationships). As an anime girl she can relax and fantasize about a perfect relationship

Ok, so boom. The guy and the girl meet up at the cafe again and he accidentally spills coffee on her, which burns through her skin so it reveals that she's not who she looked like. The guy is like "...Oh whaaaatttt?!" and she's all embarrassed and think he's going to be freaked out, so she runs home and starts crying on her bed. The next day, she decides to get another skin at the place she got the first one from, and she bumps into him there and they lock eyes. Then he takes his skin off and reaches to hold her and they walk out together.

It's a really lovely song and I love her voice, most of all it really does feel like an introduction. Not unfinished just kind of unresolved, like you've only heard the first part of a longer song.
