Despite being immensely talented in their own right, being the first junior group to debut after BTS under BigHit MUSIC must have been super intense for them; I can't imagine the pressure they must have felt during those first few months. The group tackles a very wide variety of genres but a common thread that I personally see and hear in the majority of their works is a sense of youthful whimsy. Yeah, I would associate a lot of TXT's music with having just a dash of whimsical flare to their songs. You might enjoy songs like "LOSER=LOVER," "PUMA," and "Can you see me?", but they also shine vocally in songs like "Opening Sequence," "20CM", and "Fairy of Shampoo." As for live performances... I would recommend "Blue Hour" as it's such a fun song and it really gets the crowd going! (BTW, they are currently touring in the states and will be performing at Lollapalooza alongside J-Hope!! :D) I hope you give them a listen and thank you once again for sharing your musical experience with us!

I've also been more in love with rock my whole life and despite hearing other group's songs, I've never really been inclined to "stan" until TXT. They have so many genres, so much flavor. I think you might like these songs with a rock feel: Loser = Lover, Dear Sputnik, Runaway, Good Boy Gone Bad I also recommend listening to their other songs; Frost, Cant you see me, Opening Sequence, Eternally (Audio first before MV) I hope you check more of their stuff after this. TXT said in their press conference for this song that BangPD was having trouble writing lyrics that he liked, so he asked RM to take a look at it, and RM weaved his magic, which is why he's credited as a writer. They also said that there was some indecision about which song to have as their lead single for the album, and RM said this was the one, so they went with it. Yes!! We love TXT in our house , I call them Baby BiTS since they’re BTS little brothers and label mates. I got to see them live in concert this past Saturday and they opened their show with this song which is one of my favorites from them. They were GREAT live & theywere non stop for almost 3 hours! Their set list was 26-27 songs! Their song Magic is also another fun one & try Fairy Shampoo it’s a little slower, almost jazzy feel to it, beautiful song!

I love TXT too. I love that BTS loves being their hyungs and they're so proud of the TXT babies. If you get a chance you may want to watch a compilation or two of BTS-TXT interactions. If not for the main channel, at least for your twitch livestream. They're really endearing. And they also have the same chaotic energy that BTS has. Possibly another part of why you're reminded of BTS while watching this is also because 1) they have the same producer - Slow Rabbit, and 2) RM is credited as one of the lyricists for this song. And you're right, even though they remind me of BTS a lot, they still sound so distinct. I'm loving their edgy era.

TXT are so adorable and very talented too. I love seeing interaction between BTS and TXT, and also Lee Hyun 😄( BTS 's "big brother") I started listening to Seori because of this song. I love her voice and her songs. I can't get enough of "Dive with You." Lee Hyun's "Moon in the Ocean" is a beautiful song, he has such a lovely voice.

They are really good at storytelling and they have great songs that range from " oh that's a fun poppy bop(with notes of sadness if you really pay attention to the lyrics and mv" to " dang this kid is straight emo" 😅 pls check out the songs 20cm, antiromantic, and trust fund baby, if you want to hear how good their vocals are
I would definitely recommend Loser=Lover by TXT because it's connected to this music video. Also you can call them Tomorrow x Together (whether instead of 'x' you say 'by'). Another group (and I do have a good bit of faves) but not as to overwhelm as yet, I would recommend Enhypen - either their debut Given-Taken (there's Japanese version but focus on the Korean original) or one of their latest - Future Perfect (Pass the Mic) And I have to add a soloist Kang Daniel (first name Daniel btw). His song Paranoia and if you follow it up - then Antidote because they're connected. Both have music videos. I recently found out that TxTs Fandom name in the beginning was also ARMY (because they're also from bighit and younger bros of BTS) but the Fandom came up with Moas (Moments of Alwaysness) she recently went to their concert because she says that it's filling up the void she kinda has because of BTS. She's my BTS godmother, she introduced me to BTS and I owe her immensely for that. It was at the right time too for me. 💜
I love these guys! Really great personalities and incredible music. I highly suggest checking out Stray Kids as well. Stray Kids are considered a "self-producing" group from JYP Entertainment. They were the first K-pop group I ever checked out and they are beyond talented and hilarious.

I know im late to your channel and commenting but....this song....this song broke me.... Ive come from a background in early 2000s punk rock (Blink182 was my first ever concert), alternative rock, emo...ect. Then I got into kpop around 2010 2011. NOTHING EVER in kpop was like this song. I followed TXT since their debut and I never really fell hard for them until this song. This song was made for me. I got to see them live in NYC back in July and they opened with this song and I promptly melted into a puddle. No other kpop song has made me so emo and nostalgic at the same time. Its my favorite song ever now and no matter how many times I listen it still makes me emo. Taehyuns voice in this is just so passionate and I know how hard he trained to get it to this point. Please check out a live cause hearing him do that raspy voice live is chilling to say the least!! Also youll love Loser Lover and Frost! Frost is insane! I cant wait for you to dive into them more! Enhypen Drunk-Dazed is great, any ATEEZ, STRAY KIDS, You should check out ZICO as well, just had a comeback, There is a singer named Hwasa, she is in a group called MAMAMOO, she is amazing. Another favorite is Taemin from Shinee, he's an icon. Just dive in and have fun!! My eyes and my life have opened up so much since I found Korean music. I absolutely love it.

0x1=Love Song is a fckn legend. The song def deserves to be SOTY but sadly, not a lot of people know them that much. I hope they continue to be successful from hereon. They have such a flawless discography. Some other Korean BANDS are The rose, day6, N.Flying, FTisland, and CNBLUE! All make AMAZING music, FTisland is more heavy, N.flying is more like fun goofy exciting songs (love them), day6 is kinda like ballad punk music, I actually don’t know a lot about CNBLUE and THE ROSEEE one of my faves are more ballad but have heavier stuff too! I personally love txt also! One of their songs that I think perfectly combined rap and experimental metal elements is Frost by TXT. It utilizes Taehyun's raspy voice really well. I'd recommend checking out their performance video to get the full uninterrupted song.
Don't know if you look at new comments on very old videos but I was craving some TXT reactions so was going through yours... I thought you might be interested in reacting to 2023MAMA YOSHIKI X TAEHYUN,HUENINGKAI X JAEHYUN X ANTON X HANYUJIN-Endless Rain. Yoshiki wrote the song and it was originally performed by X Japan a Japanese rock band that started in 1982. As you can see by the title Yoshiki played the piano for the song himself, Taehyun and Hueningkai from TXT did the singing parts. Along with the 3 other performers from other groups (I considered writing it all out but this is getting too long and the point was that TXT members sang since I am responding to a TXT video plus I don't want to ruin any surprises)

That is one of the problems I have with the term "KPOP" it doesn't describe what any of the bands are. There are so many genres within that term but western music industry uses it to describe all groups that come out of Korea and it's definitely based in racism.
Big Hit followed up BTS with a great group TXT. Then Bang PD helped create ENHYPEN with BeLift (on a show called I-Land). You cannot go wrong with reacting to these three groups. TXT- I really like the song "Blue Hour" the MV and the live performance both rock! ENHYPEN- Drunk-Dazed or Fever- I think are my favorites for them right now. These two younger groups have the Vocals, dance moves and performance levels of much more experienced groups because of the talent and training as well as the encouragement they get. BTS is very proud of them as well as the two other groups proud of BTS. It is really cool to see their interactions on camera.
Please don't confuse yourself though....as BTS & TXT are BigHit Music artists which is an independent label under HYBE....BigHit Entertainment/BigHit Labels rebranded as HYBE created Enhypen with PD Bang being CEO at the time.
I’m also trying to branch out from BTS but it’s hard. TXT are coming into their own now so definitely continue to look into them. My go to after BTS is SHINee. They have a lot of fun videos and the interaction between them is great. Minho acted in Hwarang with V. Onew has an incredible voice and Taemin is Jimin’s friend and a great dancer. Be prepared for some real sadness though as they lost one of their members to suicide. It might be interesting to look into Super Junior as they are all approaching 40 and are still active. You’ll have seen Heechul in a show with BTS called Knowing Bros. Again great characters in that group. Leetuk is friends with Hobi’s parents. They introduced themselves to him and invited him to visit them. I think they had a comeback recently.

I would definitely recommend Loser=Lover by TXT because it's connected to this music video. Also you can call them Tomorrow x Together (whether instead of 'x' you say 'by').
Another group (and I do have a good bit of faves) but not as to overwhelm as yet, I would recommend Enhypen - either their debut Given-Taken (there's Japanese version but focus on the Korean original) or one of their latest - Future Perfect (Pass the Mic)
And I have to add a soloist Kang Daniel (first name Daniel btw). His song Paranoia and if you follow it up - then Antidote because they're connected. Both have music videos. You can find them on his official youtube page (on the thumbnail you'll see his own company - Konnect Entertainment).

TXT was the bomb! I saw them perform at Lollapalooza last night, and it was amazing.
I recently found out that TxTs Fandom name in the beginning was also ARMY (because they're also from bighit and younger bros of BTS) but the Fandom came up with Moas (Moments of Alwaysness) she recently went to their concert because she says that it's filling up the void she kinda has because of BTS. She's my BTS godmother, she introduced me to BTS and I owe her immensely for that. It was at the right time too for me. 💜
I love “Moas” and for real will be checking out more of them :)
TXT reminds me of early 200s pop punk too, which is awesome because I listened to a ton of it as a teen!
I love these guys! Really great personalities and incredible music. I highly suggest checking out Stray Kids as well. Stray Kids are considered a "self-producing" group from JYP Entertainment. They were the first K-pop group I ever checked out and they are beyond talented and hilarious.

I know im late to your channel and commenting but....this song....this song broke me.... Ive come from a background in early 2000s punk rock (Blink182 was my first ever concert), alternative rock, emo...ect. Then I got into kpop around 2010 2011. NOTHING EVER in kpop was like this song. I followed TXT since their debut and I never really fell hard for them until this song. This song was made for me. I got to see them live in NYC back in July and they opened with this song and I promptly melted into a puddle. No other kpop song has made me so emo and nostalgic at the same time. Its my favorite song ever now and no matter how many times I listen it still makes me emo. Taehyuns voice in this is just so passionate and I know how hard he trained to get it to this point. Please check out a live cause hearing him do that raspy voice live is chilling to say the least!! Also youll love Loser Lover and Frost! Frost is insane! I cant wait for you to dive into them more! They're amazing!!

Wow, you picked a good one! Huge TXT fan too! Lover Loser is the next one by them. Been a fan since their debut. Enhypen Drunk-Dazed is great, any ATEEZ, STRAY KIDS, You should check out ZICO as well, just had a comeback, There is a singer named Hwasa, she is in a group called MAMAMOO, she is amazing. Another favorite is Taemin from Shinee, he's an icon. Just dive in and have fun!! My eyes and my life have opened up so much since I found Korean music. I absolutely love it.
Not a Kpop stan, I'm really just ARMY but TXT are also Big Hit/Hybe , a bit more pop/rock on the edgier side as you noticed and musically standing out from the rest of the industry! worth checking out
@@shotglassoftear oh yes for sure and I like other more independent korean artists! But in terms of kpop groups it's really just BTS then i just listen to a few txt songs here and there, then a couple from Stray kids, ateez even Mamamoo but I wouldn't dive much deeper..

0x1=Love Song is a fckn legend. The song def deserves to be SOTY but sadly, not a lot of people know them that much. I hope they continue to be successful from hereon. They have such a flawless discography. Definitely recommend listening to Loser=Lover, Ghosting (I think they have a radio performance of this), Can't You See Me?, Opening Sequence (hellagood fr), Lonely Boy (unit song but fckn awesome),and I want to add more but I'm afraid I might list the whole discography. lol

Some other Korean BANDS are The rose, day6, N.Flying, FTisland, and CNBLUE! All make AMAZING music, FTisland is more heavy, N.flying is more like fun goofy exciting songs (love them), day6 is kinda like ballad punk music, I actually don’t know a lot about CNBLUE and THE ROSEEE one of my faves are more ballad but have heavier stuff too! I personally love txt also! They’re definitely in my top 10 groups and I stan A LOT of groups 😂😂😂 txt have such great personalities and make great music so it’s so easy to get into them, kinda like their big brothers bts ;) you should check out BTS and TXT interactions btw! One of their songs that I think perfectly combined rap and experimental metal elements is Frost by TXT. It utilizes Taehyun's raspy voice really well. I'd recommend checking out their performance video to get the full uninterrupted song.

Don't know if you look at new comments on very old videos but I was craving some TXT reactions so was going through yours... I thought you might be interested in reacting to 2023MAMA YOSHIKI X TAEHYUN,HUENINGKAI X JAEHYUN X ANTON X HANYUJIN-Endless Rain. Yoshiki wrote the song and it was originally performed by X Japan a Japanese rock band that started in 1982. As you can see by the title Yoshiki played the piano for the song himself, Taehyun and Hueningkai from TXT did the singing parts. Along with the 3 other performers from other groups (I considered writing it all out but this is getting too long and the point was that TXT members sang since I am responding to a TXT video plus I don't want to ruin any surprises)

Yay love TXT they are so fun and this was the start of a more rock/alt era. This song is fun. And yea like BTS they are under BigHit their little brothers and they share producers and RM helped with writing lyrics on this when they got stuck on getting the song to work. And they are called “the babies” by Jimin and other members who all adore these 5. They also can’t be categorized into a genre but explore and contribute heavily to writing their songs. That is one of the problems I have with the term "KPOP" it doesn't describe what any of the bands are. There are so many genres within that term but western music industry uses it to describe all groups that come out of Korea and it's definitely based in racism.
I can't agree with this comment any more its so freaking true! we need better terms to describe these bands!
I don't know if anyone told you this ... but RM of BTS wrote this song for TXT.
Big Hit followed up BTS with a great group TXT. Then Bang PD helped create ENHYPEN with BeLift (on a show called I-Land). You cannot go wrong with reacting to these three groups. TXT- I really like the song "Blue Hour" the MV and the live performance both rock! ENHYPEN- Drunk-Dazed or Fever- I think are my favorites for them right now. These two younger groups have the Vocals, dance moves and performance levels of much more experienced groups because of the talent and training as well as the encouragement they get. BTS is very proud of them as well as the two other groups proud of BTS. It is really cool to see their interactions on camera.
Please don't confuse yourself though....as BTS & TXT are BigHit Music artists which is an independent label under HYBE....BigHit Entertainment/BigHit Labels rebranded as HYBE created Enhypen with PD Bang being CEO at the time.

I’m also trying to branch out from BTS but it’s hard. TXT are coming into their own now so definitely continue to look into them. My go to after BTS is SHINee. They have a lot of fun videos and the interaction between them is great. Minho acted in Hwarang with V. Onew has an incredible voice and Taemin is Jimin’s friend and a great dancer. Be prepared for some real sadness though as they lost one of their members to suicide. It might be interesting to look into Super Junior as they are all approaching 40 and are still active. You’ll have seen Heechul in a show with BTS called Knowing Bros. Again great characters in that group. Leetuk is friends with Hobi’s parents. They introduced themselves to him and invited him to visit them. I think they had a comeback recently.
