In this episode, I taste a biryani tradition that goes back a century at Taj Hotel in Shivaji Nagar, Bengaluru. One of the earliest eateries in the city, it has perhaps also kindled Bengaluru’s love affair with the biryani. Alongside a wholesome chicken and a nuanced mutton biryani, I also taste some of the other popular dishes here - an aromatic ghee rice, spicy kheema masala, robustly flavoured lamb chops, and an akhni that made its way from the owner’s home to my table.
Hope you enjoy this special episode. Take care, stay safe and strong. Happy eating!

We visited the hotel today (Sunday around 12pm). But it was not as expected. Parking was really a very painful stuff. Even no space in the shivaji nagar circle paid parking( adjacent to Russel market). People visit please park your vehicle in the bus terminal multistorey parking then go by walk or hire an auto.
Coming to mutton biryani( tastes like tomato rice with 2 pieces of mutton), we have not really liked the taste. Maybe I guess today's one might have not come out well.

I’m agree a 100% - I think the only way these food reviews will work is if one goes in anonymously and is served what the average customer orders.
My biryani last week we flavorless with two measly pieces of mutton. Will view all such reviews with suspicion jn future and maybe unsubscribe.

It is said that TAJ never disappoints, but if it's not your day, even the best of the best can let you down. A forgettable experience at TAJ Shivajinagar today, insipid biriyani served with overcoated and deep-fried kebab. Not sure if it's a one-off instance or the constant hype has taken a toll on the taste & quality of food.
Taj is synonymous for it's fragrant shaadi type tasty biriyani and succulent kebabs though service has been a turn down always.
A small suggestion to the management is do not get carried by tthe hype, please preserve the legacy of TAJ. It's an legendary place.
Hoping that next time it will be a pleasant outing.

Good morning dear Kripal - At the outset Heartiest Congratulations to Team India for clinching the 100Th Medal at the ongoing Asian games 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳 Now on to your Vlog . That’s a lovely Shirt 👌
The mutton Sheek Kebab seems to have some food colour added to it and that’s seen in your fingers . Is it healthy? Wow Idiappam with Kebab - That’s a new combo 👌 Now the table looks a tad complete with so many dishes 😀 I have never seen a butter chicken with this presentation and looks superb . Certainly a dish to try and share with friends. Have never tried a Khamiri Kulcha . Is it wheat or flour based ? Yet another new dish Yakhini Mutton gravy dish . It looks super appetising. I believe this should be on their menu and that would be a hit . The Kheema looks like a modified version of Bhaingan Bartha . Love the way you are relishing all the dishes and review as usual is fabulous. The restaurant is so amazing that they want you taste all their key dishes 💯💯💯 Ghee rice with the Yalhini gravy is fab combo 😋 One thing for sure is that you are a true mutton lover 😀 Finally the iconic Muttom Biryani is on your table . Bisi Bisi Biryani 😀 Your memory of the recipe and the cooking process of the Biryani is impeccable. That’s what makes you a wonderful food story teller which we simply love 💯💯💯 Mutton dishes certainly seem to be their forte 👌👌 Thanks for your dish recommendations. The show is incomplete without their desserts 🍨. Ande ka Meeta is yet another novel dish and seems to be an instant hit 👌👌👌 Dear Kripal this was a super awesome Vlog . Every frame was enjoyable. Thanks so much 🙏🙏 Take care and have a wonderful weekend. Loads of love and respect 🫡🫡🫡🤗🤗🤗❤️❤️❤️❤️

Hi Rajesh, hope you're having a great weekend. Glad you enjoyed this watch. What makes the khameri kulcha interesting is its bready texture owing to fermentation of the dough, which could be wheat, maida or a combination of the two. It makes for a great medium to soak up thin gravies. The ande ka meetha was a great find too.

Today, we visited this restaurant and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. Despite the recommendations we had seen here, most of the items listed were unavailable except for the biryani. However, even that didn't meet our expectations. The mutton masala was chewy and tough also lacked flavor, while the chicken biryani resembled more of a plain tomato rice without any aromatic essence. The accompanying salan was unappetizing, and the onion raita seemed stale. The Kerala parota was also not freshly prepared and poorly cooked. It seems like the restaurant only delivers exceptional quality when visited by food vloggers and critics. I suggest reviewers to visit without prior notice to experience the reality. Despite traveling 18 kilometers solely for the biryani, it was a regrettable decision.

That biryani!!!! 😭😭😭🤒🤒🤮🤮🤮🤒🤒🤮🤮 They just cooked jeera samba rice with some ghee and food colour.. There was no spices, no chilly powder, no salt nothing.... It was completely tasteless. We couldn't figure out what we were eating. That Sallu ki butter chicken!! Yukk!!! And that parota also... None of the dish has any taste in it. Very unhygienic and non responsive customer experience ever!!!
Kripal sir..., We believe you and your videos. Dont make the paid videos like this.

      @FoodLoversTV  10 месяцев назад

No paid reviews here, Vaniitha. I speak for the food as it speaks to me, sans any inhibitions or commercial restraints. I enjoyed the food here as do many of the regulars here. However, taste is also subjective, what may appeal to many may not appeal to a few. That is the nature of food and taste. Perhaps this wasn’t suited to yours. Having said that, there are times when an eatery can have a bad day and the food may not be up to the mark. Nothing that we can do about the same.
Here’s a tip for you: When you watch my videos, pay close attention to the food that is being described, its taste, physical attributes and then decide if it’s for you or not.
In closing, all our reviews are genuine. We research thoroughly and pay our way through each meal. We review without fear or favour in line with our dharma “truth in food.”
      Happy eating!

Because it's their mother tongue. Biharis who went to West Indies speak the language of their community.
Trumps grandfather came from Germany but Trumps language is English.
Similarly Urdu is full of words and rich imagery of islamic values so many Muslims feel comfortable with it also it's a modern language more suited for present time. South Indian languages are full of hindu imagery thus a bit problematic for Muslims to express themselves in.
This is not to say that other Muslims who speak local languages are wrong they do but they have their own adaptation and dialect where hindu religious phrases etc are omitted. I have tamil and malayali muslim friends who can't speak urdu at all.
Karnataka , Maharashtra and Telangana are in transition zone from hindi/ urdu to Dravidian languages so many Muslims of these area are associated with culture from North India so their language is a mix of both influences.
As for thes video That's ok to speak in English the video is for a larger audience.
