We’ve all been there! We learn a lot from our failures in class. I bet he nails his next assessment!

Thanks for such a positive comment! He did in fact nail his next assessment! Failure can be such a good learning tool so we are happy we can showcase that for other student!

This video was very good for someone who hasn't had the pleasure of reviewing our testing, especially on camera. So hats off to this student for hanging in there!
Love these realistic videos, too many others are scripted...ty.

Thanks for the kind words! We know the camera can be very intimidating so we love hearing all the positive feed back!!

"I really appreciate this video showing an unsuccessful patient assessment during the exam. It’s helpful to see real-life examples of what can go wrong, as it gives us a chance to learn and improve. It’s not just about showing success but also understanding mistakes. Thank you for sharing this! If possible, could you also post a video related to administering Entonox? That would be incredibly useful as well."

I really enjoy these videos. I also appreciate the fact that they showed a video of a failed attempt. This not only shows that just because you fail once that doesn’t mean you’ll be unsuccessful, but it also shows that you really have to study, know the material, and the steps needed to properly assess the patients. I’ve been so locked in. I’m an EMR right now. I know some people feel it’s a waste but I’m going for EMT right now and I’m a stronger EMT student because of it. Very similar psychomotor skills to EMT so my second set of psychomotor skills for EMT will be that much more fluid and seamless. Thanks for taking the time to post these vids. I definitely tune into them all!

Thanks for taking the time to write such a nice comment! Everything you said is so true and will absolutely set a student up for success! EMR is such a good step in a learning journey, since you are going for your EMT right now we will always be here on RUclips if you ever need any help with any concept!

Doing an assessment and then adding in the cameras can be super intimidating but we really appreciate that we can share this as a learning tool for all of you on RUclips! Thanks for the comment!

Performance anxiety is a b**ch. I always hated the test scenarios cause you know they're looking for mistakes, so you're just hyper focused on NOT making any, lol.

So true- we couldn't agree more! Especially in front of a camera is so intimidating! Thanks for the comment!
