Excellent videos slowly demonstrating how to handle a supine patient for spine immobilization 🎉🎉🎉
highly helpful
Is this still tested? I have my skill assessment tomorrow and my program said that this isn’t tested anymore. If I get this skill I’m definitely failing
My program also said it's not tested anymore
We're huge fans, feel free to reach out if you'd like to collaborate!
Nice and thorough video
Excellent demonstration and video
Where I am it’s hard to get first aid training, and unfortunately when I did take the classes years ago they were were so basic that they were essentially just how to put on a bandaid, so these videos area huge step up from what I have access to otherwise.
These videos have been very helpful for me in my course, thanks for all your help!
Would love more stories
Didn't check glucose
Blood glucose is obtained around 4:26
so I'm noticing something here and I have a question. I noticed with the history taking, the patient states he" takes something for high blood pressure, but does not remember what". neither aspirin or nitroglycerin is given for high blood pressure. The patient does not state he has a prescription for Nitroglycerin but towards the end when the provider starts giving meds, he gives the patient nitroglycerin. So is my understanding of the EMT scope wrong or did I miss something? or does the video give misinformation?
The general scope of an EMT will allow for NTG administration in patients with chest pain indicative of cardiac origin, without the need for the patient to have a prescription for NTG. There are some EMS systems which will require NTG to be a direct medical control order, or will only allow an EMT to "assist" a patient with their prescribed NTG but we allow our students to operate as if they have a standard order to administer NTG.
Great lab refresher. Left out Activated charcoal.
He took more than 10mn
We are Blessed to have you posting these amazing videos. Thanks again!! So helpful.
Currently cramming 2 hours before National registry
Thanks this is very helpful as I study for the AEMT exam (and for my practice). Love the bit about treating this like a painting :)
Watched a few videos came across this one probably the most simple , quick but detailed video
Great stuff

Great episode. This channel is going to be huge. So much great information. Thank you!
Very very great video
Absolutely love your content, keep it coming. I start EMT/Firefighter in January and then go straight into Paramedic. Your public lectures are exactly what I was looking for to prepare myself by getting exposure to the concepts before hand so that when I get into class it won't be such a firehose of information. 10/10 Ya'll rock.
Id suggest looking into working as an emt for a few months before going to the rest of your schooling. It'll help in many, many situations. Just on my clinicals alone, working with als has helped me understand what they're doing and why.
I watch these videos before I head into class and it helps me learn the material and understand what we’re going over!! Please try and upload more block 3 and 4. You guys are amazing for posting in class lectures, it helps more than you know 🙌
I'm starting my job as a phlebotomist on December 2nd. I'm pretty nervous but excited as well!

How do you remove clothing. I didn't catch that. With scissors to be expedient.
Been watching all these lectures before I start my EMT Course to get a head start, Been loving all of it
Same i watch them over and over it's been such a blessing 💯 🙌
Really enjoy these videos. Thanks for keeping graphics up to read.
Thumbnail is 👌
Thumbs up and the word sweet. Great job. Great video..
Finally! I can pretend like I am better than the EMT’s trying to treat me because of these videos!
Hahah love this comment!
My husband car accident, he was pushed into the metal part of the door on the other side of the car. His head put a dent in the metal. He had cognitive problems the rest of his life.
We are so sorry to hear that!
