  • It is HOT in Alabama this summer. We are about halfway through our current flock, and the main way we keep our chickens cool is through wind speed. At the end of our chicken houses we have several 48" fans that pull air across the chickens on hot days. From time to time, we have to replace fan motors, belts, bearings etc. In this video we change out some pillow block bearings and also install a new fan motor.

Awesome video! Looking forward to seeing more of them. There is nothing worse than that humidity after a rain storm in the south. God bless and keep up the great work - Everett

I guess you change the rotation by interchanging the wire to make it blow inside the pen house .Well done .

good job on getting the inner race off, very clean, I worked on an axle once and "skint" the axle cutting a bearing off with Oxy/acyt rig, and as luck would have it snapped that axle w/i 2 weeks, so then I had even more stuff to work on 😕

Sounds like the luck I usually have when working on projects. One step forward and two steps back. Thanks for watching!
