Great tips and looks so much better man! but can i ask a couple of q's: Does the polish come off if the figure is handled? as in, did you need to seal it afterwards? or once on does it stay on and not come off on your hands with rubbing/handling? im tempted to try something like this on the mcfarlane warhammer figs....but do you think a black wash would be safer?
Looks awesome and so much better. After the black wash, I typically dry brush an antique gold paint from Folk Art to make the armor more metallic.
I agree bud! it looks pretty much better than the original released. thank you for the tip!

Same questions! 🙌
I just got this guy the other day and this video was exactly what I needed. Yo thank you so much for showing this. Looking foward to whats next.
Mmmm gives the armor like a gladiator type of vibe
Does it wash off easily? Like is it sticky or does dry fairly well? Looks great though 👍
It's pretty nice how it adds shininess (?) to the gold but it looks too dark to my taste
Looks good
Super easy! Thanks for sharing the tip!
What would you suggest to make the gold shinier, before using the black shoe polish? I have gold metallic markers. Do you think that would work?
Will you clear coat it?
Nice trick! But wouldn't the figure be all oily to touch and dust magnet?
Wondering the same
no the shoe polish will dry up
Yeoooo GORILLAA TINGZZ
does it get oily at all?
