HOW TO SET TOTAL STATION IN FIELD/LEICA JOB SETUP & COORDINATE SETUP IN TAMIL

Steps for using TS06
1. Set up the instrument (Centering & leveling).
Then Press F4 for OK
2. Then select Prog and press ENTER (↵)
3. Press F1 to select 1. Station Setup
4. Then press F1 to select Set Job
5. Then select F1 for New
Then For Job enter a Job Name e.g. CST
For Operator enter your name e.g. KARMA
6. Then select F4 for OK
7. Then Press F4 to select Start
8. Input the station No.(e.g. S1) and then press ENTER (↵)
9. When it says Point not found in Job just press F4 for OK
To enter the coordinates manually press F3 for ENH
10. Enter the Easting(e.g. 1000.000), Northing(e.g. 1000.000) and the Height(e.g.
500.000) and then press F4 for OK
11. Then enter the instrument height (e.g. 1.42m) and press ENTER (↵)
12. Then for the Method select Ori. With Angle press F4 for OK
Press F3 to make Hz=0 then rotate the instrument to North and press F2 for SET
Your orientation will be set and you will come back to the Programs Menu
13. Then press F2 for Surveying and the press F4 to Start
14. Input the Prism Height in the hr. in meters
15. Then start the survey to collect the first point by sighting to the prism and then
press F1(All)
16. Then press F4 and then F2 for CODE for any User Key you have set
17. Enter the feature code (e.g. TREE00) in the Find/New and then press ENTER (↵)
If it says Code not found just press F2 for AddList press F4 for OK
18. Then start collecting other feature points.
19. Remember to change the feature code after the first measurement of the
feature
20. Remember to change the Prism Height before the measurement.
