I pleaded I couldn't breath and he pressed harder with 2 other deputies standing on my back forcing my face, nose & mouth into the dirt. When I tried to push them off of me so I could breath, thye kicked and beat me and knocked out teeth, broke bones, etc. I would up in ER. Then the she Robert Stover applogized to me saying that they made a mistake. The one deputy threatned my life if I brough charges against them..

This same thing hapened to me by the Amador cOUNTY sheriff's Deputies in Plymouth, California where I was the featured act at the outdoor stage. Four deputies attacked me thinking I was some one else and beat me to a bloody pulp and one deputy put his foot and all of his weight on the back of my neck. I pleaded I couldn't breath and he pressed harder with 2 other deputies standing on my back forcing my face, nose & mouth into the dirt. When I tried to push them off of me so I could breath, thye kicked and beat me and knocked out teeth, broke bones, etc. I would up in ER. Then the she Robert Stover applogized to me saying that they made a mistake. The one deputy threatned my life if I brough charges against them..

Someone explained it far better then i can, investigators need to get all the detail they can before the press a charge, if you charged him for murder though it fits manslaughter more, the charge will be dismissed cuz it didnt add up, you get one shot to charge the right one, they figured it fit more manslaughter by legal definition. If you mess up that shot, you cant charge them with the other. So people are getting angry its not being rushed but another person explained because they've been rushed other sensless deaths been charged for the wrong one and the cops walked away for it. I'm Native and see all the time how slow the feds act. My nephew was murdered last summer and nothing has been done. And YES I'm pissed about those cops not being in jail yet, and I'm sickened that are still free to be in society. But I understand the process too, they're trying to get enough charges and premeditation so it becomes a hate crime. This violence is so very sad.

I agree. All this destruction to force charges. They need to allow time to get the correct charges pulled together. If they misstep one charge, these men could be charged and found not guilty. I think they are making sure charges are correct to not allow something that tragic to happen. Charges will be filed, then what, the city is destroyed. Sad sad situation.

I wish they were just detained. The idea he is getting the chance to talk to his family and children and have dinner with them after murdering a man disgusts me. I understand there is that process but detaining him would stop a lot of these problems
The Minneapolis Police are brutal to the native population also. Systematic racism and corruption have existed for decades within law enforcement.

Tons of people have probably lost their jobs and their income, and on the tail end of an economic hardship. They burned down housing for low income people, too. Burned new constructions, and for what?

Good cops and there are some will catch a rock in the head. Hopefully righteously angry law abiding protesters will make an effort to stop the ones crossing the line. Justice will catch up the bad cops.

But I have never wanted to hear a PD station being gutted in my life until today. Wipe it off the face of the Earth. Build a new one.
