The Navajo Nation Special Diabetes Program promotes diabetes prevention through nutrition education and physical activity. Herein, is a Traditional Navajo Cake recipe. Diabetes is preventable.

It turned out great, the left over husks I made sweet tamales and took the goods to my parents. They loved it🥰

Soooo how much of that mixture goes into boiling water? you just put some of it in and mixed up. Kind of hard to judge the amount going in??????

Do you also boil the raisins and brown sugar? And, for how long? U just said, "let it boil".

Can you fry the cooked cake? Can you put Apple chunks? Or other fruit, nuts,ect.?
