I think that Earth is the better player, but bayonetta is straight broken. Don't get me wrong, Zack is really good, obviously leagues better than me, but its hard to look at that and say kills of a single hit at 30% are fair. When no other character comes close, thats when I complain.

I believe it's all balanced, plus this argument always comes up with Rosalina and Luma when she kills at 30 as well, but it's only Dabuz who wins with her. And I get what you're saying is that she shouldn't kill early but part of that is because the good bayo mains (Zack And Salem) cover each and every option to kill early. But I definitely would be lying if I said she's an honest character.
The argument here is bayonetta carrying players who otherwise would not have made it this far. I believe salem is a very good player winning apex years back. Zack just presses a ton of buttons and it works because 90% of bayos moveset is safe on shield and in neutral. If he played any other character he wouldn't get nearly as far. Bayo carries players who use her, not much else to say when all you have to do is make up combos as they happen.
Yeah people complain about my main Cloud so much but he is quite the opposite of bayo I feel. He's fast and strong sure but none of his moves are very safe on shield except Cross Slash. I feel that's what makes Bayo so stupid is that she can just spam everything and win. And even when you get the advantage she can easily counter with witch time and end you off it pretty easily.
I think almost everyone would agree that Earth outplayed Zack. However, Zack out characterd him really hard. Just goes to show you, if youre losing with a mid tier... just, try out a top tier. They're really good.
people never believe me, but as a pit main, I've always thought bayo to be his worst matchup by far. For one, his lasting hitboxes make it easy to land a witch time. For another, his multiple jumps are no use because bayo thrives in the air and can simply beat out the air dodges, not to mention her aerials are much higher priority. For some odd reason pit is also the perfect fall speed and weight for the combos to connect, which is why we saw those 0-deaths. Great stuff from earth though, he played great!
Ethan King I mean really all you needed to say is that bayo can mash buttons against pit and there isn't much he can do. Plus bayo can just throw out like 50 hitboxes when edge guarding pit. Like nair and then up b after and the up b will hit so don't count on that missing. You can bank on the side b to work but it's not very likely

Earth did a lot of great plays but Bayonetta is just too strong. Now of course Captain Zack is a very good player and his results aren’t just a consequence of his character choice, but you can see how Bayonneta can be quite overwhelming juggling the opponent and frame trapping the opponent even when they SDI out of the main combo, as well easily being able to get away and use Witch Time. Pit just needs better punishes, especially against a character that can kill very easily if you get carried away. Pit has small strings and is mostly based on catching landings, although a buff to the damage he deals would be nice. Just small one or two percent additions to Fair, Nair, Uair, and To all of his Tilts could help make it just a bit easier for Pit to speed up the time it takes for him to take a stock. This matchup is a ton of patience and catching up for Pit
