Amazing job Shane, and thanks for the shoutout. I forgot to mention how useful the tapered tail is for really putting weight behind the snaps, Bert’s and laybacks, that was a great observation! Agree that this is the one deck I would save from the fire if I had to!

Awesome review Shane! I am loving my deck too. I probably need to get them Cliq trucks as I really want to enjoy it with my YOW trucks too. Using it for bowl with C5 trucks currently. The original YOW deck just feels so flat now. Nice to see other riders opinions! Keep it up! 🤙🏻

Fantastic review Shane👍. Probably the best deck on the market. Could you share also your Impressions on Whaleshark with Meraki?

In my experience, the fit with Meraki is awesome!
You can check Mark the Landlocked surfer’s channel, there is probably shots of him with the Whaleshark + Meraki.
Otherwise, I can also send you some videos of him crushing it when he first tried my Whaleshark demos mounted with Meraki!

Can I still ride this board if I’m a shorter rider? I’m around 5 feet tall am I’m thinking about buying it.

It might feel slightly big for you, but it also depends on your stance width.
There is also the option to drill.

Shane - thank you very much for another very holistic review! I’m learning a lot from each video you put out into the Ether!!
Which one would you rather recommend - the TigerShark or the WhaleShark?
(for context : I ride the Curfboard truck with an 18” wb and 29” overall length - I like the system because its low to the ground .. but am looking for something a wee bit more bowl compatible)

    Hi Shane, another great vid👍👍
I really like the look of these decks but as a nube I'm wondering if the wheelbase is likely to be too short for me. The reason I say that is that on Steve's SSL wheelbase calculator I run at 18"+ . Would you mind sharing your knowledge of wheelbase for me as it would be a shame to miss out if it could work for me. All the best mate 👍

Sorry for late reply. It also depends on what you'll do on the board. For example, if you will just be cruising, going shorter will not affect your performance ( it will affect speed and stability). if you are planning on doing surfskate maneuvers, being close to your wb is better as you'll feel more stable and natural on your feet. On maneuvers, shorter wb will whip easier but might be twitchy, whereas longer wb will provide a stable platform to express the power one already has (as technique progresses).
Let me know if it was helpful snd if you have any follow up questions
