Chibi characters is a major turn off but the character do look cool when they're performing their biggest moves. I also dig the SCP vibe a lot! this might turn out to be good
That feature where character appear when it's hus turn is cool, but chibis and character design is such a downgrade for Smilegate considering Outerplane and Epic Seven.
I'm still wrestling with this myself. But I'm starting to view it like Made in Abyss. The juxtaposition of the cutesy chibi with the Eldritch horror and borderline gore might possibly prove more impactful for the theme they're aiming for.
Chibis are pretty well down. Character design are definitely very cool. Outerplane is not related. It's not super creative, and honestly most of their character designs are very generic....
The theme and the art style doesn't work together if you ask me. I dig the concept of the world, but the main gameplay visuals are a complete contrast from it that I just don't see myself even trying it.
@@slicvm It will affect the game's file size. Mobile console doesn't have big file storage as PC so developers have limited option to proritize either on art or gameplay feature.
