I'mma be real. These tutorials are a godsend. I've understood more of what's going on here than in a good number of other tutorials. Keep it up ma dude!
A lot of blender tutorials is just too much talking and treating the viewer like they never used a computer before which in results ends up in robust materials where the author goes through everything and nothing at the same time. Which is ironic because short formats of 2AM's videos are easier and smoother to digest, less talking about bs and more actual "here's how I've done this."
I watched the hand tutorial, and I really liked the results that came from following along, and how easy to understand it was, especially the thumb. So I can't wait for the next video, and thank you for taking the time to even make these videos.
These tutorials are fantastic! I know you said you might not do a foot tutorial since not as many people watched the hands tutorial, but I would really love to see you do a video on it! Videos like that will gain views as people actually work on making their model
The speed and density of information per second in your tutorials is great. Commentary over timelapsed work is a good format that I find helpful at least as a more experienced artist, but I'm not sure how that comes across to less experienced people. Your content is great for the refinery of skills area, I really appreciate it
As someone who only did a couple block-based simple renders for a gamejam (like a battery and a flashlight) - it's a bit too intense in terms of information per second, BUT that is why the pause button was invented. I've spent around 6 hours on the first ~5 minutes of the video so far.
y'all I'm trying to get in to 3d modelling so I tried following the steps in this video and I do believe I can safely say I have made the most horrendous excuse for a humanoid shape to ever exist but I still love it because this is the first fucking time in my life I was able to (sort of) focus on something for a whole day
The export process to unreal engine isn't different than unity right? I'm using this tutorial to help with my realistic alien model I'm making for a game.
Please upload the foot tutorial Probably gonna get a small view but I remember the process of making a foot with my character sheet and it took me days
I've used blender for the better part of the last 4 years, but never attempted modeling, animation, or rigging before. I just used it as a means to make YT thumbnail renders for my numerous channels growing up. I finally said fuck it, I actually want to make something and your channel is the starting point to my journey. I'm leaving this comment as a means of commitment so if I end up quitting I will sound stupid xD In all seriousness though these videos are absolutely goated. I've only watched the head model and the shader ones so far, but they have been very informative and helpful.
this is an amazing tutorial. only gripe i have is that im kinda new to blender, so the sheer amount of times that ive had to go back over and over and over again only to wind up missing details that you pointed out very clearly for a 2 second span, or just seeing new details pop up out of no where that you never mentioned and missing out on them completely for the first few attempts at making a model this way have been frustrating. other than that, this is a fantastic tutorial!
If you’re still trying to get into blender, try watching a few of the donut tutorials. I got blender like…3 weeks ago, and while I can’t make a body to save my life I can make my way thru the menus pretty well
@@romtibomti yeah I've gone through the donut tutorial a little bit, I've decided to put a pin in this right now while I focus on my mental health since my situation isn't a great one.
@@2amgoodnight The clay tool doesn't work the same way, i'm on Blender 3.4 I love wasting my time because the tool are not the same. The impression that give me is i need more polygon
Love the tutorial, but one part I keep messing up, but I don’t know how to fix it. When making the legs in the blocking out stage, the inner sides where the legs touch each other is not closed. Sorry if it doesn’t make sense. It just is open all the way down the leg
That method looks quite nice. What I fear are the anatomical prerequisites to the sculpting part. You mention at one point to be mindful of the roundness of the chest and buttocks. I think it would be great if you could cover all these anatomical details that make the model not nightmare fuel.
ngl i nver used blender before and i tried the ''donut'' tutorial but it didnt teach me anything yet when i watched this i somehiow understood everything i need to understand 💀

One of the first Blender tutorials that I could actually understand throughout the entire video! Thank you for making this.
In seriousness though, this free

advanced donut tutorial
I promised myself that I would never click the sculpt tab ever again. I like how you did that so easily. I looking forwards to how you did the hair.
FINALLY after scouring youtube for a WEEK your video is a gift from the gods exactly what i need subbed bell on AND a like
This is amazing. I can't believe the results I was able to get from watching this. Thank you!!!
This is exactly what I've been looking for!!! Thank you so much!!!!

thanks for the tutorial :D

This is a great explanation of the process, thank you!
Reckon ima get a asus laptop so I can have fun!! Thanks for the tutorial

Dear author! Tell me how you can use such anime models later? What to do with them? On what sites can they be sold? Thanks in advance for your answer.
6:08 everytime I add a mirror modifier to the plane it’s offset and isn’t mirroring properly…anyway to fix this?
Make sure the Origin of the object you're using as the mirror source is in the center of your world space
Yo retopology looks like hell man. ngl. I be stuck on making perfect loops and stuff.
3:03 "Melons"
Ah yes the man of culture
Hey can u make tutorial for male/boy character I need it please
nice video!
Why is it that when I remesh the whole mesh ends up with holes in it and parts of the mesh missing. When I’m starting part 2
i had the same problem. I've solved it by applying first the modifiers. Have you applied the modifiers before doing the remesh?
I have been exporting Daz3D models, but this way is much better. It will probably take me week or 2 to do this.
I can't even move the cube, i keep clicking it doesn't move, what do i even do this is confusing af😭
How do I get the cube transparent to quickly select all sides at once?
how did u duplicate the polygons in 6:20 ?
What's happening is
Selecting the loop
Extrude (this duplicates)
Scale down
mirror mode is currently not supported in dyntopo :(
Noice tutorial, question, do you apply the same method without the melon for a male body ? (Yeah i know that sounds stupid)
Pretty much & just less curvy

Anu tutorial for male body version ?

Could you please make a make character tutorial...a muscular male, something like sin from guilty gear ... I'll really appreciate that a lot 🙏
how you find your hand and foot file ?
When I do everything the same in sculpt mode, the polygones are too big, and result is absolutely another( should I remesh to a less voxel size?
Yes, find a size small enough to work with

bro there is soo much difference between video cuttings I cant even understand can you make new video about that?
This is the same male body make?
Male body is 90% same, just don't add the breasts and less curvy.
3:42 you failed the fruit test
you know this anime character is a horsewoman because the hips are wide af from riding it since birth.
This tutorial helped me out a lot, but dude, just be normal and call them breasts.
First xd
Modeling organix in 2023 bruh, sculpt faster and simple.

Blegh. Retopo is stupid. D:
