    Old man talking here , set yourself goal time line to meet critical stages of the build . And it will get you to where you want to be .
    Thanks for sharing your hard work .

      Haha, well in the famouse words of journalist Glen Torrens who reviewed the car back in the day 'The luggage space is tiny however this is the sort of car you only need a credit card and a pack of condoms for a weekend away' haha

    The word of the week is SICK!
    Geez man, 36 days isn't much, especially considering you're creating videos as well.
    Looking forward to seeing all the progress 🙌

      @@seanalexander9531 yeah looks it's a push, I sometimes get Mondays at home but my wife is sleeping after night shift so I can't make much noise, however if I don't have work on I can use that time for little things like sanding and prepping plastics, cleaning and doing cardboard and computer aided design :)

    Keep it wingless!

      @TheNuggetProject  3 месяца назад

      @@caramelcatfish haha, oh man, I know a lot of people like them wingless but I'm definitely not one of them! Plus the wing on this car actually does a lot, back in the day the original design only had a small duck tail and they found when they tested it on the Autobarn it was unstable at speed, so they redesigned it with that spoiler it has today. I plan on doing a couple of track days with the old girl so I'm keen on the stability at speed :)

    I wanna hear some 2ZZ goodness! Not sure where you're headed with it, but thats where I would go with it myself. 9000rpm of spine tingling NA raucousness. Plus you can tell the wife its just a Corolla engine, nothing silly.
    Love seeing it come together. The little things like a dummy assembly to check things over, and to get an idea of how its going to look when its done, can really help to keep up the motivation. I like the driving holiday for the Wifes birthday idea. Sounds like a great way to enjoy some time together; in a rad little sports car on some spectacular driving roads.
    The sacrifices now will pay off ten fold when its time for final assembly, keep at it!

    • @TheNuggetProject
      @TheNuggetProject  Месяц назад +1

      Sorry mate I didn't actually film it! You basically drill our the spot welds and move the whole latch assembly over about 110 mm and it lines up again, then needs to be welded back on
