@@TheGameConqueror1my personal theory is that Colm truly desired to settle things as he, like Dutch could no longer afford to continue fighting both another gang and the law. I think Arthur being there with a sniper set off massive alarms to Colm. He likely thought that Dutch was still seeking revenge for Annabelle, so he did the reasonable thing and captured Arthur.
@@fatbastad he would not have thought of this until after catching arthur. My theory still stands. After finding arthur he realizes he can get the pinkertons off his back and put more focus into getting rid of dutch and the gang since they had a sniper on him.
I wonder if things would have turned out differently if arthur wasnt there

@PeterGriffin-kb2hf Colm captured Arthur so he can hand them in to the Pinkertons in exchange that The Pinkertons leaving him alone
