Yeah - it's five years since i first discovered this astonishing talent who is up there with the greatest of female vocalists of all times. And it's lost none of its sparkling freshness and cosy sensual impact through these high end headphones. Ohhhh - that caressing, husky voice, that wraps itself about you, the passion and commitment in those powerful vocals, the beautiful driving guitar, the punchy bass line coming in, her STAR commanding presence on that stage. Its exactly 8 years since this classic performance. (no harmony vocals in this). And what a class, catchy song with sensational pithy lyrics that goes round and round my brain, and which should be a global best seller. OHHH - how I wish I could have BEEN there to witness this!
When you coming to Sheffield in England Kyler? Make it real soon PLEASE.. I would ;pay BIG BIG money to see you? Can I bribe you to pop across the pond? That voice when it comes in in the lower register on this one is simply devastating. Its filling these headphones and making the ornaments rattle. And then when it goes higher - its equally good. What I also LOVE is those little breaks in the voice as at 2.32. The way she uses those is unique to her and is so emotionally powerful. Goodness - what a TALENT.
THIS was the first song I've ever heard of you - I just love it so so much and whenever I hear it, I have to press the 'replay button' :)
I was listening to this song today on my way to work and thought: "Damn, I HAVE TO check out ALL of her songs!" - and honestly: I'm amazed *__* This song means so much to me. THANK YOU for that :)
