Christopher Trikilis, one of the younger generation of Australian organists, is a Melbourne-based musician, studying music at the University of Melbourne Conservatorium of Music while Organ Scholar at St Patrick’s Cathedral, Melbourne. Christopher has performed recitals in Australia and North America, and has furthered his studies with leading international organists including Dong-ill Shin (Korea) and Mario Perestegi (Croatia) and is currently mentored by Dr Gordon Atkinson. He is currently Organist and Director of Music at St Patrick’s, Mentone, and teaches at St Kevin’s College in Toorak.
This is, in my estimation, a perfect rendition of this piece. Your playing is crisp and clean and you illuminate the structure of the work with beautifully executed flexibilities in tempo and color changes. I hope you are proud of this performance!

Gorgeous piece (last heard at Lichfield in the '60s). Lovely to hear it again. And beautifully played.
I have a 1960s 45rpm record of this being played at Litchfield Cathedral which inspired me to learn it myself. Not too difficult for a fumbler!! Though I will never play it as well as this!!

Count your blessings to have an organ this nice in a Catholic church. You certainly don't find it much in the US.

Wonderful performance well recorded but I had to shut my eyes. That horrifying pink shade some fool thought was fitting for a place of worship is enough to induce nausia. .
