I am working with dyes and antiquing for the first time on a fire helmet shield. I was wondering how do you antique the shield and make sure you get the product out of the painted stamped letters so it’s not gunked in black?

I have an antiquing video up that will show you my process. I make sure to clean out any small cuts with either a paper towel or a kew tip

    I love your videos
Do you ever do custom letters?
I would love to see a video with that
And maybe how you used photoshop to put custom letters in the banner

Thank you for the support. Yes I do use custom letters. That is a great idea for a video. I'll add it to the list for sure

Do you tan-kote a shield that is painted and not dyed?
