11:16 one of the most significant adaptations a technical trader can experience is this particular shift in approach. Understanding macros completely changed the game for me.
Sidenote: I figured a way to use gpt to process fundamentals. It was 100% accurate in its assessments of the data the last two quarters of '23.

I was live and i have learned that being a successful trader takes time, you have to be focused and channels your weaknesses and improve on them as the veteran slighted in many forms, there is no shortcut way, you have to do the needful. You just cant say, i want to be successful trader, i want to make millions traditing, i want to travel around the world and not willing to do the deep work. You have to work harder on yourself before breaking the threshold of success in trading, indeed alot of sacrifice and dedication need to be made as mentioned in my scenario by the veteran Ben sharham. Your really doing a great job for bringing us the developing trders this kind of wonderful podcast from the veterans Riz. More respect Riz 🙏

The way retail and institutions are trading is completely different but I don't think that us as retail are trading wrong, rather there are just many different variables. When you are running 20, 50, 100 million you can shoot for 7 or 8% a year or hold on to your trades, ride interest rates etc but as retail you do need to be that bit more aggressive and the technicals do start to play a bigger part for us. He is right tho when he says everyone should be in tune with the fundamentals and the larger economic picture.
