Thanks it helps me a lot, I did not cut the sensor cable. Just jumper grey and black cable. mine HP laser 107a.

I had the same problem. My wires were 2 x grey and 1 x blue. I cut the blue wire but it didn't work. Using tweezers to check, I found that when I connected the middle grey and the blue prongs, it worked so I just cut those two wires and joined them together, plugged back the plug and everything worked fine..

Unplug the sensor cable.. Left n right is grey color.. Center is black.. U use one new wire, soldering the two black color pin make it connection together..

Just follow my video.. U just need to unplug the paper sensor cable.. Then u will see 3 pin which is connected to this cable. U just need to use wire, soldering the first pin and third pin. Make it first and third pin connected. After done this, u can try check your printer status again.
