I think it's about time we muggle-borns introduce the common pencil and ink pen to Hogwarts. I can only imagine how much time the house elves have to spend washing ink pot spills from the robes of all the first years.
I got to go to the RCCC panel with Neville, Lucius, and Jacob Kowalski. They were hilarious and very insightful! Although, it got awkward when Dobby got a bigger applause than J.K. Rowling, and Jacob’s actor called us out on it 😅

I found a trunk that looks just like Harry’s at a second hand store for $20, and a black trunk around the same time period for $15. They are out there for pretty cheap.
