I had the game demoed to me by a former Katsu player, and it's honestly really good. And I'm absolutely _not_ a fan of anime, so hopefully that says something :D
Yeah I'm going to, I just keep not having the time. Plus Grand Archive cards seem to be very hard to acquire in the UK, and I just spent all my money on Weiss Schwarz.
I played MtG fro 30 years. I never liked the land system of that game. When I discover Grand Archive, the anime theme, no lands in deck and champion focus hooked me. I even made some videos n my channel (in protuguese, no script, no edit, no focus, just talking about my fav thing) . I dont did this for MtG.
I play flesh and blood and as refreshing as the GA game is it suffers from if opening hand is sub optimal and the power level of the decks aren't same, if will feel like a steam roll like other tcg. I prefer FAB system cause starting bad hand can be played through.
You can get around having worse hands by using the glimpse spirit. Also the memory system allowing you to play pretty much any card in your hand gets around having bad hands. I disagree with the steamroll aspect. The most recent major event had five different champions in the top eight and I think the game actually promotes knowing your deck and how to play into the other one. To me, it’s actually been the most, nondeterministic matchup TCG I’ve played but everyone has different experiences
As a guy who left FAB to go play GA i pogged when i saw your post on X that you were making GA content!
I love both!
i've played TCGs for well over 10 years and Grand Archive has been my favorite TCG. Glad to see it getting more and more popular.
Same!
Yes, please! Maybe start by explaning champion/deck archetype playstyle - it's really hard for me to find an overview online.
That was one of my first ideas! I’m going to start with the elements themselves and then move into the champions

Awesome to hear!

Wish I had more time and money for other games. Also wish I had people to play said games with.
Agreed my friend

Fire a Pod!
I’ve never done a set podcast, but it may be a good idea to do it occasionally
My wallet can only handle one TCG!
First, somehow?
Let’s go!
