Мне тоже нравится это видео. Я люблю смотреть, как эти солдаты танцуют. Уверен, что после танцев на их ботинках не было ни одной потертости. Ваше здоровье!
Russian dance culture is very old. The opening choreography is fairly new, influenced by classical ballet, but as for the actual individual performances, young men in Eastern Europe have been 'breakdancing' in this way for hundreds if not thousands of years.
WOW .. this video should've had 1 million "likes" already! .. just goes to show that everything has a history, even break dancing.. AWESOME Russian soldiers dancing and having a great time..
There is a Russian TV show on Netflix called "Silver Spoon". It has this Russian Colonel that is his 50s or 60s and overweight, but at wedding he breakdances and he's freaking awesome. It's a must see.
russian dance is amazing! i want to learn more about this type of dancing, id love to be able to do a few of those moves!! im pretty sure i will twist my ankle soon enough trying...
The strength and balance of the Cossack type dance requires more than most folks will ever even think about. You could work out in a gym and powerlift every day and never have this kind of strength. You need acrobatics and gymnastic training along with extreme abdominal strength and deep breathing for functional abdominal/torso strength. There should be a disclaimer: Don't try this at home!
Thanks for sharing this - I am sure it will get lots of exposure - so good to know that something amazing like breakdancing can come as a result of boredom during war... but, voila! There you have it! Blessings upon us all! - G
wierd seeing such old film being played with that music, but it kinda works. I would love to see some of those moves make there way into mainstream modern breakdanceing. Physically crazy hard moves though.
@1Kimerian And who said that you are right? Russian cossacks appeared since 17 century (1649, when the Russian serfdom became strict and people run to the southern coast of Volga river to built the first cossack settlements here), and yes. by that time, Ukrainian Don Cossacks already existed. Becides if you don't know, Russia was established as a kingdom in 1547, when Ivan IV became the first tsar of Russia. Peter the Great established Russian Empire. There was no Tartaria, even before1547
Americans: We have helicopters.
Russians: We ARE helicopters.

Did... Did Russians invent breakdancing?

That video from 1965
"Breakdancing" is credited to the black culture of the 1960's.
But such moves appear in multiple cultures going much further back.
Yes that's true. They did.
ElementHearts no tf they didn’t

From U.S.A.
I can't put into words how much I like this video. Been watchin this vid for years now and I still love it.
In Soviet Russia, dance breaks YOU!
If only wars and conflicts could be fought and settled with dance battles. :(
The Russians would have conquered the world by now if that was the case
That’s a lot of pressure put on a select few dancers. Imagine losing you home city just because bob accidentally messed up his dance.
