In the book Nedry was described as less goofy and much more serious in his deals with Dodgson. The only thing that stopped his success was the storm.

The movie would run normally, but with Biosyn with the genetic power now, and that could open the door to totally different sequences.

I still remembered Dodgson’s name in the new Jurassic park film. What still has me baffled is how in the world are the embryos still preserved after 19 years…
It's been a while since I've played and seen played but I remember in the Jurassic Park taletells game you actually retrieve the canister back. So maybe they had been working on it for years or used it as a bases to start there own dinosaurs
They aren't preserved. BioSyn's rise to power happened in the four years between Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom and Dominion. After Fallen Kingdom dinosaurs were out in the wild on the mainland, so anyone could have captured them. BioSyn simply claimed them first.
obviously, they could not figure out how to make the can to dispense shaving cream with the interior replaced with that gadget. so they had to cut the scene and replace the prop with the real thing.
So this Dr. Datson is the real villain in this movie, had he not tried to steal research none of the tragedy would have happened, he went unpunished...
Dodgson is mainly the reason that Dr. Malcolm, Lex, and Tim are injured by the Tyrannosaurs with Gennaro being eaten by it. For him hiring Dennis, which shut down the power to their vehicles and most of the fences. Then later, shut down the power to the rest of the fences releasing the Velociraptors. Which got Ray Arnold and Robert Muldoon, with Alan Grant and Ellie Sattler being injuried.
Never recognized this expression. Thank you for pointing out this detail. I know that feeling so well: Collecting all the self control when someone keeps interupting or talking bull while you try to explain something. This is just painful.

@G E T R E K T 905 Yes, but Nedry could have done well with just 750 thousand. He wasn't trying to get really rich, he was having financial problems. That alone probably would have taken care of it.
yeah, that guy is expensive indeed, huh?
lol he holds the key to 15 dinosaur species dna. i would ask for 75 millions
The book straight up says how much Dogdson ripped him off. They say that all the Embreyo's are worth about $10 Million. He makes $1.5 Million
To this day "we need more teeth" still makes me angry, and "we've got Dodgeson here" still makes me smile.
Jurassic World imo wasn’t bad. Not bad at all- it just didn’t compare to Jurassic Park.
But don’t you dare make me talk about the World sequels, dear fucking god.
SHOOT HER! SHOOOOT HERRRR!!!
01:18 sounds -almost- *exactly* like the damn Dilophosaur that killed him
For Shadow 😮
You know this scene would be better if I didnt live in Costa Rica knowing that San Jose is actually a city that is nowhere near the beach
I envy you living in Costa Rica. I heard it's one of the happiest countries in the world.
Steven Mann because of cheap weed
especially that san jose is in california :D
HAHA I love it
Boba0514 There's also a San Jose in Costa Rica. Obviously
Dodgson !! Dodgson is here !!! See? Nobody cares...
It would've been unfortunate if we had seen someone jump into frame and tackle them both.
"Oh, I guess someone does care."
Anfubvinch I cared. I really cared.
Anfubvinch dodgson... definitely a fake name.
Fuckin funny ^^ He makes it so convincing ^^ "Nobody cares......"
nice hat
I’m from the future to tell you: WE GOT DODGSON HERE! And it seems a certain dinosaur species does indeed care
JWD:
Dilophasaurus #1: "Dodgson?"
Dilophasaurus #2: "Dodgson!"
Dilophasaurus #3: "We've got Dodgson over here!!!"
1:18 that squeal sounds exactly like the dilophosaur the later end up following and killing him. Wonder if the sound designers didn't take that clip and reuse it. XD
they do that sometimes, yeah lol In terminator 2, i believe john connor's scream was used to blend it into explosion sounds for 2 scenes lmao
Wayne Knight is always fun to watch. Such a character.

You gotta love how into this Nedry is. Squealing with delight and poking fun at Dodgson. He must feel like he's in a James Bond movie, lol.
"No menthol?"
"Yep. And customs can even check if they want to"
1:18 that laugh 😂😂
All this years, I thought it was the sound of storage compartment opened.
Brendan McCallion chicken laugh xD
Priceless. I've seen a zillion times but it still gets to me🤣🤣🤣
i thought it was a rat squealing
I know op is trolling but some dumbass people actually think that
This scene has more feeling in 3 mins than the two new movies combined
What feel?
Three*
This is such a classic scene. Total Spielberg throwback. Feels timeless but also very 70s. Like it could be a scene from close encounters. Love it
Hahaha I love this scene Newman, Newman, we've got Newman here...... Don't get cheap on me Kramer. That was jarry's mistake. Hahaha sorry I couldn't resist 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I never understood this scene as a kid. I didn’t know the meaning of corporate espionage. Coolant, embryos, compartmentalised, viable, these words went right over my 7 year old brain. Now I love this scene as an adult.
😂
0:48 What I want to ask every fedora wearer.
1:18 makes me laugh all the time

As a kid you are just screaming "GET TO THE DINOSAURS", then as an adult you love these scenes.
Wayne Elliot Knight (born August 7, 1955) is an American actor, voice artist and comedian.
He is known for playing Newman in Seinfeld (1992-1998) and Officer Don Orville in 3rd Rock from the Sun (1996-2001).
His other roles include Dennis Nedry in Jurassic Park (1993), Stan Podolak in Space Jam (1996), Al McWhiggin in Toy Story 2 (1999), Tantor in Tarzan (1999), the Giraffe in Bee Movie (2007), Zack Mallozzi in Rat Race (2001), Dojo in Xiaolin Showdown (2003-2006), Mr. Blik in Catscratch (2005-2007), Microchip in Punisher: War Zone (2008), and Haskell Lutz in The Exes (2011-2015).
He was nominated for the Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in Jurassic Park.
You forgot Abis Mal in the Alladdin animated series.
@@drscottgamingfx211 Yup. He was also in that legendary interrogation scene with Sharon Stone and Michael Douglas in Basic Instinct. He was also on Dirty Dancing.
When your a kid this humor goes over your head. I appreciate it now. Wayne., you would never know he was reading a script. Haha as a kid this movie scared me to death.
Jerry through clenched teeth with his fist also clenched: "Newman!!"
Phenomenal acting, well done classic Jurassic Park.
1:20
His bag disappeared.
WTF I watched this film countless times and never noticed.
Wow!! Must've been bag-pocketed while laughing like an hysterical idiot....goodbye 750$K!...teaches you not to laugh like that with that much mullah in your arms!
gassug 2 no he put in on the ground but they cut that scene up because he would look cluttered.
all that money gone in a blink of an eye
This is why you don't do a large trade on a Costa Rican resort that plays Mexican music.
0:42 best part WE’VE GOT DODSON HERE!!
This movie was so special and magical, especially for its time.
1:18 As a Jurassic Park fan I will never forget Dennis’s little squeak.
Me too! Me and my friends even used to quote the squeak! :D
So, so.
I still remembered Dodgson’s name in the new Jurassic park film. What still has me baffled is how in the world are the embryos still preserved after 19 years…
Considering amber has been making dna stasis for a million years those companies probably use similar means
They weren't it only shows as a reminder of what not to do
It's been a while since I've played and seen played but I remember in the Jurassic Park taletells game you actually retrieve the canister back. So maybe they had been working on it for years or used it as a bases to start there own dinosaurs
@@fidelgarcia2224 not cannon be in camp cretaceous season 5 find it
They aren't preserved. BioSyn's rise to power happened in the four years between Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom and Dominion. After Fallen Kingdom dinosaurs were out in the wild on the mainland, so anyone could have captured them. BioSyn simply claimed them first.
1:18 Even as a kid, I still can't discern if the squeal is coming from the container or him and it haunts me to this day.
And now, when the Dilophosaurus opens its mouth, a weird squeak comes out...must be something he ate
He squeals like a dolphin
obviously, they could not figure out how to make the can to dispense shaving cream with the interior replaced with that gadget.
so they had to cut the scene and replace the prop with the real thing.
1:18 pretty ironic, he sounds like a Dilophosaurus while laughing
0:47 Me whenever I see a celebrity lecturing about themselves
He laughs like a velociraptor.
This movie is a classic. I've seen it probably a five hundred times since its release. Have the movie on VHS, use to have it on DVD and now Blu-Ray.
*SPOILERS FOR DOMINION*
Dennis: We got Dodgson here! See, nobody cares.
Dilophosauruses: We do!
JWD:
Dilophasaurus #1: "Dodgson?"
Dilophasaurus #2: "Dodgson!"
Dilophasaurus #3: "We've got Dodgson over here!!!"
@@WarGrowlmon18 _After they eat him..._
*Dilophosaurus #1:* "Nobody but us cares!" 😈🥩🍖
Masterfully done, this scene was written & crafted beautifully
One of the most perfectly executed scenes in all of cinema.
Unintentionally funny scene 😅
So this Dr. Datson is the real villain in this movie, had he not tried to steal research none of the tragedy would have happened, he went unpunished...
I bet that restaurant bill cost more than what was in the suitcase.
Lulz
No the restaurant bill was probably around $10-$20, and the case had $750,000.
Now that's funny
Now that I’m older it saddens me that he didn’t make it out with all that money.
I live in San Jose and I've never seen a beach around here, it's a city
I live in San Jose, California got confused for a sec.
This movie was shot on an island in a restaurant near a beach
Kent Wong LMAO 😂
They didn't actually go to Costa Rica just to film one scene.
They filmed it at Fresno beach in California.
sorry that hoolywood is so damn stupid
he sounds like peter griffin :D
***** true ;-)
he LOOKS like peter griffin
every fat man got this voice :DD
That’s Newman from Seinfeld
Never thought of it that way, he does ha!
This is, by far, the most memorable scene in this entire movie. When you say "Jurassic Park" I picture Newman squaling and bullying Dodgson.
Nedry was supposed to be "the nerd" but here he totally made Dodgson look like a nerd. Sublime👌
Really? Cause I think of dinosaurs
None of this would have happened if we paid our mail carriers better wages.
Remember this when you control the mail you control... INFORMATION
He just got 750.000 $ and still don't pay his bill. He wearly was greedy
1:18 Best laugh ever)) Love this movie.
Newman hardly had to act until like 45 seconds in.
This film is why I use that shaving cream and no I don’t steal dinosaurs DNA
Lol I have used the same cream. It is actually not a bad product.
0:11 I always found it hilarious how the animal sounds fit the music
😂😂😂😂😂
0:43 The point in which Jurassic Park goes from horror to comedy. Thanks a lot, Wayne.
Wayne Knight is a brilliant actor! I just love him!
Wayne Knight deserved an Oscar for this scene alone 👏
Thank goodness there is an entire channel dedicated to this scene.
Lmao just noticed
Mariachi band in Costa Rica…
Ah, Hollywood.
I don't know why this appeared in my suggestions but it's great to catch a scene from a good movie 👍
They are in Costa Rica and they put mexican music in the background.
braven117 I am in the U.S and I occasionally hear Indian music.
I must be hallucinating as that is obviously impossible since I am not in India.
Xav G They are suggesting with that music in the background that all hispanics hear mexican music.
braven117
Vacation resorts like to pander to culturally uninformed Americans.
braven117 my family used to go to Portugal on Christmas vacations and we'd hear Feliz Navidad on all the radios. José is Puerto Rican
Portugal is next to Spain.
San Jose doesn’t have a beach on the ocean or Gulf, but it does have a Dodgson here!
His death in the book almost made cry;especially the part when he was thinking "soon the pain will end"
0:47 me learning that bad guy in Dominion is Dodgson after finishing the film
Best shaving cream ad ever, “now with Dino embryo storage for up to 36 hours.”
1:28 Dodgson really is fed up with Nedry not taking this as seriously as he should.
Never recognized this expression. Thank you for pointing out this detail. I know that feeling so well: Collecting all the self control when someone keeps interupting or talking bull while you try to explain something. This is just painful.
And the. He demands for more money
In the book he wanted to hit Nedry during this conversation.
0:43 Me after seeing Jurassic World 3
i actually watch this movie at the theaters in san jose costa rica when it first came out. this scene made the whole theater burst into laughter because it was the most stereotypical depiction of that city lol san jose looks nothing like this, let alone its not even by the beach haha
Al menos tienes sentido del humor, a mí esa bosta me ha ofendido por treinta años XD
