- Slovenia is a country where you will find a beautiful landscape full of mountains, lakes, caves and even a piece of the sea coast. Let's take a look at the most beautiful places you must visit when traveling to Slovenia. Piran - The most beautiful town on the Slovenian coast. A picturesque Mediterranean town with a beautiful church, walls and cultural attractions. Postojna Cave - World famous beauty - It is one of the Slovenian pearls and is the most visited karst cave in Europe. A special train will take you deep into the underground world, where you will find magnificent cave formations, cave halls, but also a rich fauna. Ljubljana - Capital - The dominant feature of the city is the castle above the city, which can be reached by cable car. There is a beautiful view of the whole city, but you can see all the way to the Julian Alps. In the center you will find many decorative buildings from the Art Nouveau period, the picturesque Prešeren Square with a Baroque church or the symbol of the town of Trojmostí. Lake Bled - The most visited place in Slovenia. This world famous alpine lake with a single island is a real paradise. Lake views from the castle on the cliff, a boat ride to the island and a beautiful town full of traditional restaurants and much more. Vintgar Gorge - Not far from Lake Bled lies one of the most beautiful natural scenery in Slovenia. This natural gem falls under the Triglav National Park. The combination of rocks, wild rivers and ubiquitous greenery literally creates a fairytale atmosphere. Savica: The most famous waterfall in Slovenia can be found near Lake Bohinj. A pleasant walk through the forest full of views of the surrounding mountains and the main destination ... 78 meters high waterfall. Vogel - Vogel has probably the best snow park in Slovenia, it has something to offer its visitors in other seasons. For lovers of hiking, there are many starting points for mountain hikes, an interesting bike park for cyclists and their portion of adrenaline will be enjoyed by paragliding enthusiasts. Of course, all this includes comfortable accommodation and excellent cuisine. Lake Bohinj - Located in the Julian Alps and is one of the most beautiful and popular destinations in Slovenia.
