A Satisfied Mind

I was watching an interview of Ronnie Dunn and Kix Brooks, on AXS TV Rock & Roll Road Trip with Sammy Hagar on RUclips this morning. Sammy asked Ronnie what defines success to him? Ronnie replied, “Keeping a marriage and family together”. Kix described Ronnie as being “the greatest Grandfather, watching his face as he talks about his grandkids”. Those responses reminded me of this old Porter Wagoner song, A Satisfied Mind, written by Joe “Red” Hayes and Jack Rhodes, from 1955. It kind of says the same thing for me. #Winzzguitars
