    Learned a lot. Your father is an excellent teacher. The tips are very helpful. Glad it sometimes doesn't directly go as planned so I now know what happens and what to do about it. I will have to watch these 2 video's a couple of times. Thank you so much for sharing!

    Extremely useful tutorial, and what strong, even, long, flexible material. I've not seen a handle like this before. Wish I lived near some willow. I've tried apple branches after pruning the tree, made a couple small things, but your work with the willow is truly beautiful. And I loved the rectangular basket you showed briefly near the beginning. Nice work - talent!

    My high school math teacher used to joke that we better learn math otherwise we’d have to learn basket weaving. I learned math and I’m now a retired engineer. I think I would have enjoyed being a basket weaver more!

    Hi. Very nice job you are doing. Just to make sure, you say "In front of two, behind one", but what I see is "In front of two, behind 'the second one'" and not " In front of two, behind the third one", hey? Since the beggining I thought you were weaving on three rod but no, it seems, " in front one, behing one (or the next)"... would like to know if I'm wrong. I'm not going to start weaving soon, so you have plenty of time to answer me, but would appreciate to know if I understood well. Thanks a lot. Very nice art.

    • @justesaint-louis864
      @justesaint-louis864 10 месяцев назад

      Aussi, (comme vous parlez français) pourquoi vous n'utilisez pas un des 20 'rods' du pourtour du panier pour faire la poignée? Il suffirait de le couper à la bonne longueur et de l'insérer dans la partie opposée du panier, non? Et de rajouter les brins de saules autour comme vous faites? Merci encore pour votre réponse.

    Can one use the end of the uprights as weavers when the walls of the basket are well established? It seems a shame to throw them away if the can be of use

    • @obleodemandre4342

      Once you finish the border, you can take the offcuts and save them for another basket, or flip the basket over and weave another border to make a stand for the basket (for slightly different style)
