I’m wondering whether or not her dad would like to keep him and is lobbying Ashley in favor of Kato being kept. He is a big horse for Ashley, but if he goes better without the Martingale, which is just the opposite of what most horses do, then, maybe that is the key to making him more rideable?
Eeek it seems like you hit the horses in their mouths over almost every jump. I think you’d get a lot more consistency out of your horses if you utilized a proper release over fences. I can totally appreciate that during cross country you have to maintain contact, but I can’t see what the point is during the show jumping phase?
