Homemade Rock Instrumentals Yes, Yes. Because only the most mediocre of guitarists can help write the most influential and recognized metal albums of all time.
for me it's the Kirk's better solo (3:36)... has everything: fast scale runs, tremlo picking, tapping, hammer ons, full offs, full step bends on the 22nd fret ... wtf
1 year ago... Still, if you learn fight fire with fire, battery, master of puppets, and all the fast 200-ish bpm metallica songs you should be able to pull Dyers Eve off
Haha, I just commented on Suffocaters comment on ur new cover of this song that led me back to this comment on Suffocaters cover of the same song from a year ago /w\Trippy/w\
@@TheSuffocater If its different from the album but sounds the same imo its not wrong, there are lotts of riffs that James and Kirk play that differ from the original track. Great cover :)
@@TheSuffocater I noticed in the rhythm your hand was supposed to go to F.....you went to G @ 3:32 to 3:33....so your rhythm playing is faked to the audio. Yes it IS your audio, but it is recorded and you are "miming" the actual playing LOL
@John Tudor every tab book even the one METALLICA themselves have released to fans have said 2-3-2-3-2-3 and I've watched them live play it both ways. Kirk plays 2-2-2-2-2-2 and james plays the other.
DY is one o'my favs w Master, Ride and Fight fire w fire. Man you're so f..kin' clean, like bleach-clean. Kirk can't even play that clean. Please keep on trashing man. That's a treat for my ears
The alternate picking and extremely heavy hand of James creates the B-C conundrum, so it seems. I always thought differently, but it makes sense. This man plays it perfectly.
Excellent man, brilliant, no doubt. My only little complain is the tone, i guess i could be better. But yeah, the best cover so far on youtube for this song
wow awesome cover i love your tone and guitar, you got good talent .some guy in comments on about that it should be b alternates with c but he is wrong its just b you played it perfectly, better than me, block out the idiots mate,
It might not be supermega tight, but this immediately qualifies as the BEST cover of this song, simply because you used a white Explorer. Until someone with an "EET FUK" one comes along, you will wear this crown!
Finally some who plays the riffs right great fucking job dont listen to the haters!!👊💀👊 Everything was great but I feel like you could've been more aggressive with the solo so it matches the tonality with the original.
Hearing the solo it is not like it says WOW, however maybe it is just me being a "crybaby"! 🤪🙃😋 Fun to the side Great job, my friend! Amazingly great!😄
This, Frayed Ends, Blackend, Battery and Disposable are by far the toughest of their songs. BUT, listen to the band Evile, album (Five Serpents Teeth), WOW he's the next Hetfield, songs are awesome and extremely tight, clean (great production) and technical. They aren't a clone as many people think. They rock! ;o)
you can't even play the main riff properly, that B alternates with a C, it's not B continuously
Did James told you that ?
@@TheSuffocater oh boy, a smartass... no, he didn't, but anyone with ears could tell you that, maybe you should buy a pair of them.
and if you need more gas for your ego, your timing on the solo is absolutely off
caves bonifacio if you like to know. It’s you who is being a smartass and probably more full of yourself than OP
@@TheSuffocater i met James actually and he said: See you tonight!
I didn’t understand why some shitty people do criticized Kirk Hammett! He is an amazing guitar player
Yes , solos on ajfa are killer !!
It's because Kirk plays the same shit over and over and overuses the wah pedal
Mediocre
Tushar Sharma it’s funny because Kirk actually does play the same shit over and over. Ask any guitar player kid.
Homemade Rock Instrumentals Yes, Yes. Because only the most mediocre of guitarists can help write the most influential and recognized metal albums of all time.
@Tushar Sharma lol he literally does play repetitively
He has a habit of playing pentatonic scales. Only deaf people can't see that
Dear god your tone is monstrous. In a good way. You also play it super tight which is really nice. 10/10
Thanks a lot mate !
Right? Just close your eyes, and let the vibrations enter your ear hole.
Needs to be more scooped😊😊
3:36 SOLO
Yeahhhhh !!
@@TheSuffocater Wah!

In my opnion is second best Metallica solo after Ride The Ligjting
The Dancing Guy “One” solo wanna talk with you
@@MathHoonFBfromFAS Meh One solo is just good the only cool part is the tapping lick, Rtl is almost 2 minutes of pure shred/feeling of Kirk 🔨
@@thedancingguy828 RTL solo kicks butt \m/
The best is the riff after the solo
koolakron kronic so true!
so true man!
The day that never comes riff by Trujillo?
I would listen to this guitar part thinking there was no hope. After watching this I realized it’s much easier than it looks. Awesome work!
Thanks a lot !
Stamina is a challenge for some to play this song the first times.
1 year ago... Still, if you learn fight fire with fire, battery, master of puppets, and all the fast 200-ish bpm metallica songs you should be able to pull Dyers Eve off
that is the hardest of AJFA. Good job!
Thanks dude !
shortest straw is harder
Txampi or hardest of Metallica 😂
@@bassemkarame2510 Not its not
@@nebula556 i dont think u play guitar tbh. speed is not everything
Killer playing man, this is one of my favorite and you did it justice. For all.

Perfect cover! I liked to see the solo on Jeff's guitar.
Thanks bro' !
This song is probably metallicas hardest songs to learn…imo
This alongside with Battery and Blackened.
@@BLCKNRliterally the hardest songs
Damn that was awesome especially, the riff after the solo
DUDE!!! Bro, I know right? That riff is so badass, I say the same thing. Idk how to explain it, but it's such a badass riff lol.
The only guitar for this cover to be played on! Respect! (Have the same one).
Playing speaks for itself 🤘
Congrats you reached Level : Asian.
Yeahhh ! Thanks mate !!
congrats, now try the bass on this song :)
@Tushar Sharma get it? Cuz bass is easier than guitar
I'm just kidding
Aussie Metal Garage Jewish people are more virtuoso, that’s the real level
Next level is Asian child
I dont even know what is 2222 and 2121....pity on me😭😭😭 but i love his cover....great job👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Mind blowing guitars...thank you for making it visual...
I stumbled to get there first. Great stuff, dude! I can't wait to hear the full band cover with your prominent guests.
Thanks mate !!
Finally a correct cover of Dyers Eve ! Very good job boy
Thanks mate ! Yesterday someone said its wrong :) cheers
A lot of people believe that’s 2-3-2-3 :/
@@TheSuffocater If its different from the album but sounds the same imo its not wrong, there are lotts of riffs that James and Kirk play that differ from the original track. Great cover :)
Quentin Vô I think the heavily scooped guitar tone makes the pick attack sound a little sharper than the actual note.

Very clean. You make it look way easier than it is. I couldn't play this cleanly to save my life. Good job! :)
Masterpiece man \m/ . Hats off that is a hard song to play
Hammet's choppy leads sure are more apparent in this solo & super hard to duplicate.
Just trying to play the main riff gave me hand cramps
Hand cramps? I got carpal tunnel!
Nice job, bro. Your vid helped me a lot getting this one down. Oh yeah, and it's 2-2-2-2 hahaha

That picking hand has to be ON POINT!!

Main tone is Bias tone from "lambchopper" !!
Hardest Metallica solo hands down.

What is Kirks most difficult solo?
Some people say its Creeping Death.
But I think this could be a candidate as well.
