@@maya-mu3ce wow. I've been wearing a hat or beanie while hair was wet for years. No wonder my hair is dull and crinkly... got some rosemary and castor oil shampoo brick otw il be sure to dry more often!
@@Twizzler300 i’ve been through this exact situation! here’s some unsolicited advice and a backstory. my hair is curly (2c-3b) so it takes forever to dry, and leave in products makes it take even longer. my hair would be 95% dry after six hours. i’d often have to put it up for when working on lab assignments, exercising, cooking, etc. it was dull and lifeless even though i wasn’t damaging it with heat or chemical treatments. the last few inches felt like straw even though i was getting trims. now i scrunch it really well with a big cotton t shirt and let it sit until a cast starts to form, then i dry it in front of a fan, use a diffuser, or let the air circulate while i walk around or sit in the car. the main idea is to dry it really well with some sorta cloth and then get air circulating throughout your hair. its 95% dry within an hour or two. my hair is significantly healthier, and even the ends are shiny. keep in mind i do a few other things to maintain the health of my hair, but i color it every other month and get highlights once or twice a year. look up hygral fatigue. this is damage caused by water, and there’s ways to prevent it and repair damage. i apologize for the rant, hopefully this helps

make sure your hair is mostly dry before putting it in a bun, hair gets damaged when it stays wet for hours
