I'm really excited to see how the new map will reinvigorate Hunt. :) I largely lost interest in playing over this spring/summer after years of active hunting, mostly bc after thousands of hours the gameplay loop has gotten stale. I'm pretty sure at this point the new map will offer another few hundred to my clock still. ❤ Especially since it seems to switch things around a lot more than Lawson or DeSalle. I'm also really glad they're touching up the previous maps in tandem. While I believe Stillwater & co will feel familiar and relaxing in contrast to everything new with Mammon, I'm sure the new map will influence people's expectations quite a bit too... Maybe Crytek could work on a smaller sort of thematic deathmatch map for their next map project? I can imagine that bringing a lot of variety and freshness into the game with a more manageable workload and faster content release schedule. We play Hunt for the pvp really, and I for one would welcome an intermittent change in pace being added into rotation. When you spawn ln that map it would immediately require a different strategy: higher chance of running into another team quick, higher chance of a big full server battle, maybe even a shorter timeframe to get people really moving. Perhaps it could revolve around one or two mega compounds with a few lair options, and you'd have to storm the clues in close proximity to other players. 🤔
I completely feel ya 🤠 I'm hoping the update is not just more contents, it's more of a whole new game/vibe - and this map reveal certainly suggests this is the case! I would also love to see some sort of faster paced addition, i.e remove souls survivor and add in some sort of quick game mode like you described, can't go wrong with a good ol' death match too! I'm very excited, thanks for sharing your thoughts and taking the time to comment, I really enjoy seeing what my fellow hunters think about the game 😀
It is sooooo fucking good what a great job by crytek. The graphics look good the compounds are all new and an entire fucking network of mines connecting 4 compounds!!! Also this map is amazing for snipers and I TOTALLY LOVE SNIPING. Lastly, i like how you are also covering the updates coming to hunt and would love to see a cover of the new event that will come with new update. Great job
Honestly this is a lot better than I imagined, this isn't a new map this is literally a new part of the game. I'm very excited to see the new content and changes to the other maps, this is lining up to be monumental! I will try to see If I have time in the coming weeks to review the new updates and such, this info dump was just too much to not make a video about!
Hey Panzer. Clean summary and very nice edit from the new content. Two things. First, I am a rifle boiiiii, so i hope the mineshaft system is not a shotgun trap as promised. Second, I hope there will be a way to experience the map without any AI or Hunters. Everything looks so damn good and i want to have time for a closer look.
I think the mines will be close ranged but they do look to be quite expensive so perhaps rifles can still compete. I hope they just add free roam with fellow hunters with any loadout, super annoying with the free roam not letting you load in with your hunter at the moment, we'll see!

Crytek have mentioned graphics throughout the entire game are going to be improved, however it's expected that the new map will showcase a lot more features that are graphic-intensive. It has been noted as well that performance seems to be good access the board, they have also announced technology such as DLSS is coming to the game, meaning PC user can get more performance, there's lots to looknl forward too! If this game had come out in my Left 4 Dead-era I probably would've loved it. But then you become old and start a garden instead LOL
