Probably the best thing about your apartment is that it's one big room, like you said, it must be a lot easier to clean, there are no walls in your way which gives you this big open space to play around with as much as you want, and everything's in clear view in case of an emergency like a kitchen fire. It's really spacious too, which I guess creates the illusion that it's bigger than it really is while still feeling cozy. I can understand how the cons start to bleed through, but you've done such a good job with your place, it's compact and cozy and it's full of your style, when I first saw it, I thought it looked like a movie set, or that character's room from your favorite childhood show that you wish you had.

@@carinagomes773 aww thats unfortunate that you don’t have one! 😭 Although I am grateful I am lucky enough to have one, I have to be honest, because of the angle it’s on, the sun directly hits it with no shade whatsoever and because I am on the top floor it gets CRAZY windy and cold so honestly it’s not the best experience 😭 I hate to complain but just keeping it real haha, ultimately I am still very lucky to have one of course 🙂

I spent over 20 years living in efficiencies/studios of various sizes(all in the same building, my town’s former hospital)and I can attest to the cons: 1. I lived with my late husband for about ten years, and literally the only time we had any privacy when both of us were home was the bathroom. 2. When our cats took a dump in their litterbox, you couldn’t escape it. 3. Thanks to the lack of soundproofing, when our next-door neighbors decided to…ummm..”get busy”…AWKWARD!
