It's crazy how music exists for literally thousands of years, you'd think it's impossible to come up with something new, everything has been done already. And yet every once in a while there are songs that still can summon real alive emotions in you and even bring you to tears.
It's not even the song that does it, it's the series. For example I played the game and probably my favorite song was 'i really want to stay at your house' but I didn't really like any of them much, it was just the best out is all of them. Now after I saw the series, that song hits far different. What that show did was connect the emotional experience in the series to a fitting song that most people probably had never heard before. So every time you hear it, you get hit with those save feelings again.
What's crazy is I don't think very many shows have pulled off such a feat if any. Nothing coming out in the last 10 years if not the last 20 can hold a candle to how well this series was done. Everything else seems like it was done by amateurs in comparison. Which is a pity because all it takes is a vision and dedication to a well written and reasoned story and characters. I suppose in that regard game of thrones is of the same type of story, vary well written characters.
I hope one day the same team makes a live action version, if it's any other staff I wouldn't have faith in then doing it well.
That said, I still would have liked an alternate ending, for reasons I don't need to mention. Yeah, writers vision, I know, but I'd have enjoyed it far more with just that one small change.

RuRu, this is both sorrowful and so beautiful. In many aspect, this performance made me wanting more. You have a great way of expressing the emotions of this piece through the keys of piano, and made us savor that emotion as though you have the master key to our hearts. With that very charming outfit of Lucy, you have brought us all to the moon and back.

If "I Really Wanna Stay at Your House" is Lucy's theme, then this is definitely David's. Both songs just describe their relationships so perfectly, both literally and metaphorically. All Lucy wanted was for her and David to get out of Night City, and go to the moon. All David wanted was to make his loved ones feel proud and safe. But in the end, he let everyone down, and Lucy had to go to the moon alone. A bittersweet ending, but about as good as one can hope for in Night City.
I think the opposite, "I Really Wanna Stay at Your House" was David theme. Cuz it played at the first David visit in Lucy's home. We can clearly see how Lucy grew a lot of feeling into David, she wanted to keep him save which cost him life. She failed that, she afraid to let David down, she asking a forgiveness for letting David spiral into madness and suffering. Still a sobbing whatever their theme was, such a beautiful story
This is Sasha's theme, a character not mentioned in Edgerunners. Go watch the original music video, it's fantastic!
I think this song represents not just one specific character, but all of them.

某種意義上算是收到了...但Lucy的世界依然沒有David那顆閃爍的照月陽
可以感受Lucy彈奏這個David的"訣別曲"其痛處簡直深達3魂7魄...別說我們聽了整個哭慘了，Lucy的痛肯定更難想像
樂曲內容明明如此苦澀辛寒...但卻可以感受到源自摯愛之意的溫甜，彷彿就是告訴著Lucy「謝謝你、我愛你、對不起」
真的感到很心痛...我真的很想看到Lucy幸福的世界，真的...好久沒有出現讓我如此癡迷、關心、共鳴的女主了
腦中還有網路上的IF路線現在成了我精神撫慰的依靠了，看到他們相逢的甜韻，讓我嚐過了實在無法自拔想要一嚐在嚐，沉醉在這甜韻中根本停不下來...
在我嚐到極限點再也無法感受到甜韻的時候...我又打開了2077再次為了發洩無法滿足的痛而開啟漫長的屍山血海鎮魂曲...
亞當：你到底要我死幾次才會滿意啊?!!!!!!! 誰可以幫幫我把這瘋紅眼的鏖(音同:敖)魔請走啊!!!!!!!!!
對我而言覺得Let you down比之登月插曲更來得悲痛，真的就像是David的告白與告別，搭配旋律超級的沈重，彈下前奏的瞬間我就泛淚了，有夠難過

這首「Let You Down」真的就像RuRu說的，這次的版本真的比上一次的還要更加的催淚，光是剛開頭步調整個放慢許多，那種淒涼感更濃厚了（說實話內心真的有被感動到了
而曲子的旋律從柔和轉到激昂再轉回柔和，毫無疑問的，RuRu完整的表達了整個故事的脈絡（就連場景也是露西跟大衛從認識到最後的過程，就像作文「起-承-轉-合」一樣，面面俱到，最後一點點的琵琶音
這首歌是David的心境，所以動畫素材也特別找了一些與Lucy的相遇及回憶，搭配起來聆聽的確會更加催淚

Well it's great to see the lovely cy again and perform "Let You Down" this time. The tone, a bit more somber with the slower tempo which I liked very much. This part at 3:32 - 3:44 never fails to amaze me. Letting the notes breath a bit more does make it sound a bit more emotional and heart-wrenching as well.
