I grew up when the Atlantic Coast Line and Seaboard Air Line merged to form Seaboard Coast Line back in 1967 and always loved the black and yellow stripes and lettering design. So happy to see a railroad company remember this classic scheme on a former SCL line.

Must have been a really fascinating time to be a railfan back in those days. I wasn't alive in time for that era of railroading, but the inner history buff in me is really happy with SCL Colors in modern day.

@@AlongCameDalton Believe me, you missed out on all the good things back then like, seeing the SCL operating their own passenger trains, watching the railroad post office car snag a mail pouch hanging on a stand trackside and throw out another while in motion, or watching a solid set of EMD F-units pulling long drag freights running in full notch 8 screaming for all it's worth. Now, THAT was something!

I've been working in Winter Haven area the past few weeks and it's amazing how much rail activity there is

All depends on the day of the week and what time it is, and how late some trains are, but sometimes you can get a few of them.
