i really love this helmet. i've been using it for about a week and take it for a long ride, i use it for non-stop 7 hour driving and almost no complain rather than the new tight fit. a bit tight for new helmet, i hope it gets bit loose overtime so can fit comfortably. and one thing i didn't like about this is the sun visor is purple tinted, i usually use dark green tinted sun visor like nolan/xlite/hjc does.
I have the predecessor, the valiant 2 and unfortunately had to sell it, because have 2 hot spots, hurting a lot after 30 minutes. Its a pity because I like the helmet a lot, will try the successor, this Advant X and hope it will not hurt anymore, so I will ask the dealer if I can wear it at home and if I have seen star wars part 1-3 without pain it should be good! 😄
I went with an extra large and it felt pretty good until I started going long distance then it was a little bit snug minor hotspots so when I get the next one, I will be getting it in 2XL
Solid review bro. I’m looking to order one. I know this is an older video but I was wondering how the detents are on the screen. I have a HJC and the screen will shut if I get up over 65mph.
I have a Simpson Mod Bandit but I can't ride it with the chin guard up because of the buffeting. It is also really noise. I am curious if your new Advant X Carbon is quieter than your Simpson? Thanks for the video.
Yes, it’s definitely more quiet. I don’t know that it’s significantly more quiet, but just overall the quality of the helmet in my opinion is much better in every aspect.
The helmet will definitely break in. Mine has started to loosen up after the last couple of rides, I have not used the visor that comes down so I didn’t even notice it was purple to be honest with you, but I love that helmet overall.
I’ll definitely be posting once I start riding with it so far it seems awesome. I’m very curious as to the sound level inside if I can blog with it and just basically the overall comfort long-term. So I will definitely keep you posted.
I love the helmet overall as far as the wind no is concerned I believe it’s probably about Apar with the Simpson that I had previously. But all in all I actually love this helmet I alternate it between that and the Bel SRT, which is also another fantastic helmet in my opinion.
How are you liking it a month later? I’m torn between this and the Shoei Neotec 2 specifically because of the ECE rating this has that the Shoei doesn’t and I like that the chin bar goes all the way to the back. Also interested in keeping how the wind noise is.
I've had two LS2 helmets and they both had the same problem; they have no room for speakers (1/8" half-moon indent) resulting in speakers pressing hard against ears. I wear a medium, I tried a large and still same problem. I will never buy another one. If you want music and coms, I would find something else other than the LS2.

Yes, it comes with a clear shield, and it comes with a dark smoke shield also as well as the pin lock

I have not tried it in the LS2 I put my Cardo system in my Bell as of now.
Quick question after having this helmet for a few months now, how do you feel about it? I am considering it.
I'm a half helmet guy, when I wear one at all, but that is one sharp modular !!!

I used to wear half helmets. Figured modular is next best option for me. And just stayed with them after trying them.

Hows the comfort and the noise level? Did the pads break in? Some people have been complaining about hot spots even after break in.

So I did get the XL and it fit pretty good but I’m long rides. I felt like it was a little bit maybe snug so I ended up switching to a double XL.

@@Cornel1001 I just wear motorcycle -purpose earplugs on long rides. Problem solved. Called "Earpeace."

I'm considering buying this hat. I have a question: should I go up a size? Does it feel squeezed?
Feels perfect on my head. Slightly squeezed on my cheeks cause i have chubby cheeks. But not uncomfortable at all
Apparently you can get slim cheek padding if it's too tight!
Well, that’s possibly something I may look into but so far it feels pretty comfortable

Do you know what your head measurement is? Im at 61.5cm which says xl size.
I was 24 inches around. Which is I believe 61 cm. So yes, that would be an extra large.
