God is no respecter of persons. He didn't sovereignly choose David to defeat Goliath. David defeated Goliath because he knew from experience that God was a lot bigger than the giant and would come through for him, while the others compared themselves to Goliath and cowered in fear. Romans 15:4 says "For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope." So yeah, I'm not David but David's God is my God, and He's just as awesome today as He was back then. So Matt Chandler was wrong. David wasn't a type of Jesus defeating the devil. He was a type of any believer who knows their God and is willing to stand against the enemy in faith.
@@johndisalvo6283 Christ died for who were already in hell for hundreds of years? That makes no sense. None of Christ’s blood is shed in vain. Christ died for the world… not just Jews but gentile… not just Israel but people in every single nation. You shall call His name Jesus for He shall save His people from their sin.
This is what happens when one fails to distinguish between descriptive and prescriptive texts. Christian methodology must be informed by theological/didactic not merely hortatory and historical texts. Where historical texts agree with the didactic texts then we have license to use them for methodology. This is a critical hermeneutical principle that Mr. Woods continues to overlook.
“You’re not David!” Amen 😂
This was good, man. Glad to see that you were able to get Matty Chan to chime in. Great work.
Great video! A reminder to us all!

Why would anyone want to cam up with this fool.
Saiko has a history of ongoing, abiding, continual abusive speech. Believers are exercising Wisdom when they refuse to cam up with that “Ministry”.
@@MontanaViking hence my statement. ive seen his videos. ;)
