Glad you are feeling better Pricilla. The last time I was in a needlework/cross stitch shop was over 30 year ago, it was called Kit n’ Caboodle in San Antonio, TX. So, I buy my cross stitch supplies online/ Etsy. I hear about a lot of wonderful shops though 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8.
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, Would love to do a bus roadtrip with a bunch of stitchers visiting lots of stitch shops for the day. I love Destin so I’d love to find one there.

1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8. I have never stitched a roundabout but many are on my wishlist. I would love to go to many, but I prefer to patronage my local LNS Welcome Stitchery in Blue Earth,MN even though it’s about 1-1/2 hrs away but so worth the drive. Only one in MN now. Stitchville USA was only 20 minutes from me and it’s so sad that the store has now closed.
I love Fat Quarter Shop and the Attic. Priscilla come to the Attic!! Just wait a few months.

My unicorn shop was Welcome Stitchery and I was able to go last year; working on figuring out a way to get to The Attic. 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, & 8.
Hey ladies!! I usually end up at Hobby Lobby for local stitching supplies because I don't have a local shop. I would love to visit Fat Quarter Shop if they have a store open to the public. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 Good job Cash on helping out.

Don’t know if someone has commented on this before-but I just saw a suggestion to put a big chip clip on your garden gloves to keep out critters. After your story I am DEFINITELY doing it now!

I live an hour and a half away from Colorado Cross Stitch and haven't been there. My goal is to take a day and go visit! Keepsakes is another one that sounds fun. 2,3,4,5,7

I would love to go shop at Ye Olde Cross Stitchery in PA, Stitchville USA in MN, The Crafty Grimalkin in Maine, and The Silver Needle in OK. I'm glad some of them allow you to shop online.
I went to a nursery and got a spider bite in the crease of your elbow. It is swollen and painful. I have never been to an LNS store and would love to go anywhere. Can't wait for the new series. Feel better soon. 1,2,3,4,5,6

Glad everyone is feeling a better! The allergies are strong here too. I take a daily allergy pill and it can't keep up right now! Hopefully you find something great for Cash. I visited Shepherd's Bush in Northern Utah a few years ago and it was AMAZING. If you're ever in Utah, you NEED to visit that shop. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. Thank you!

I'm shocked that you don't get stopped by someone who recognizes you everywhere you go! Okay... hmmm I want to go to all places stitchy, but I think one of my favs would be silver needle. I would also like going to stitchville usa! My husband may not realize it, but I plan a lot of our long weekend getaways near stitching stores LOL 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8

My Bucket List store was to travel to the Silver Needle Cross Stitch store in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This was a car trip of 22 hours each way. But it's so worth it!! Just returned home 4 days ago! #1, 2, 6.

OMG Priscilla, I will not wear gloves when I garden for that reason. But at least there’s a perk with the bite where it is 😂. Well I’m not a busy stitcher so I’d probably love to go to “The Fat Quarter Shop” then I can buy fabric too 😉. Cash was a great helper today.

My favorite Xstitch shop is my local one, Salty Yarns (might be the one you were thinking of. They used to be on the boardwalk in Ocean City, MD and now they are more inland. Huge shop!). I've been to several others in my travels and none compare! 1, 2, 3, 7

I never thought to shake out my garden gloves. I will now! When we lived in Arizona we were careful to check for scorpions. When we moved to Michigan I got out of the habit of checking things.

Love "The Attic" and each time I am in Phx, I visit there...several times a yr. I also LOVE "Shepherds Bush" in Ogden, UT. Whenever I am up in that part of the country, I visit them.as well!

Looking forward to the garden tour, its so inspiring! My garden is just a jumble of plants, with no rhyme or reason. I dont really know many stitching stores, so not sure where I would go if I could. I don't believe Fat Quarter Shop is a brick and mortar. I hear a lot about stores that people go to. Would love to have an actual stitching store near me. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8

Salty Yarns in Maryland and Dyeing to Stitch in Virginia would be a fun trip! The Attic in Arizona and Keepsakes in Ohio had lots of samples on display and so worth the trip.

LOL at myself Priscilla 😂 I keep a pair of long leather garden gloves in my garage that I have put on and off 100s of times and have never thought about a spider or insect is waiting to bite 😂 I think now I will start to look first 😮 Hope you feel better soon ❤

1, 2, 3, 4, 5 ,6 ,7, 8 No local cross stitch stores in Southern California. I buy from Fat Quarter Shop, 123 Stitch and Stoney Creek to name a few.
The closest stitch shops are near the Minnesota/Iowa border and we already miss Stitchville in Minnetonka, MN 2,4,7,8
My dr put my husband and I on Pataday eye drops for allergies and I tested and was put on an asthma meds, singular. This combo has made an amazing difference this year for me.
If I can go to any shop I like Stitcher’s Paradise in Las Vegas. It’s 4 hours away one way and it’s my closest shop…my only shop near me. 7

I would love to go to Stitcher's Paradise since it's probably the closest stitchy shop to where I live. I normally shop online since I live in a very rural area.

I basically like every cross stitch shop. So I think I will choose one in Hawaii! Even if I don’t buy anything, the trip will be worth it! 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9. I have a question which I would like to ask, and I do hope you can answer it. When buying your patterns, do you get more funds in your pockets from us getting them from your Etsy Shop or from FQS? My spending at FQS will continue with supplies, stitch alongs, and so much fabric! I feel you both give us so much, that I would like to give back to you both! 💕💕💕💕

I have not yet been to Dying to Stitch or Shepherd's Bush and would really like to see both of those shops. 1, 2, 3, 4. I made dolls too as well as patterns in the 90's and there were several wholesalers who blatantly stole designs and never credited the designer. One person bought my pattern and a doll and told me she took them to China!
