    Nice, mate. I really like it.
    I am a singer so I try to sing what's in my head sometimes. But in my head I hear many colors and voices together like in a choral so I am always dissatisfied that I can't express myself. So sometimes I try to imagine the sounds in my head. But I can't put them all together and I sometimes forget what I had imagined. It frustrates me haha. Sometimes there's those times of inspiration that are like gold. I feel a lot of pleasure when that happens and I delight myself for a couple minutes with the colorful choral in my head. When it happens, I tear myself sometimes because it is beautiful and it's something so intimate in my soul. I wish I could have the skill to write it up like you do. So the music is not lost forever and could actually be heard again since it's written. It's also cool to share it with others.
    I don't know musical theory. I can see myself doing what you do. Got any tips, mate? Cheers from Brazil.

    • @Ivan_1791
      @Ivan_1791  10 месяцев назад

      My advice would be that you first practice writing down tonal melodies without a reference (piano or music software). Sight reading lieder will be useful too. Once you have the skill to write down melodies that you hear in your head you will have the most crucial step done.
      After you do that (or maybe at the same time) I suggest studying counterpoint, even if it is just the basics about parallel 5ths, suspensions, etc. And pair it with a basic harmony study focused on tonal degrees and modulations. That should be enough to write a decent choral.
      And Brazil... I used to have feelings for a girl from there haha. I still have to finish a piece that expresses those feelings. Greetings from Spain!

    • @gabriel-x7x9g
      @gabriel-x7x9g 10 месяцев назад

      @@Ivan_1791 Thank you for your response, mate. So you mean that I should write notes in sheet music paper (using software if I can)? Do u think I should learn theory fundamentals before trying that? And what lieders are you talking about? Could you give me some references? What is a good way to find them?
      I love Spain so much. You guys have great artists, not only musicians but painters and sculptors as well. I particularly like your sacred art, churches and the imagineros (I think that's how you call them? The artists that make catholic sculptures or images). My favorite is Francisco Romero Zafra.
      Oh, yeah, man. I think brazilian girls are really something hahaha. I hope your piece turns out to be great. Would love to hear it in your channel.

    • @Ivan_1791
      @Ivan_1791  10 месяцев назад

      You're welcome. I think it is better to start writing down melodies on paper. You should learn basic music stuff (mainly notation) before writing melodies but nothing too advanced. I suggest trying to read the melodies in lieders by Schubert, Schumann and Mozart. That practice will let you write down melodies quite fast.
      Oh, I didn't know about that man, quite interesting. Yes, the culture here is quite amazing.
      We simply had a nice friendship but she decided to not have online friends anymore. And I will try to compose it next year! I think it will be my best piano work by far, and I mean BY FAR.

    • @user-jw9kg5rt4d
      @user-jw9kg5rt4d 8 месяцев назад

      I have the same thing where I can improvise a whole ensemble in my head but struggle getting it out. One thing that'll helps me is playing the piano. I kind of taught myself and just play whatever comes to mind at the time. You could also try just recording your idea if you sing out him it out loud. And then you hope that when you play it back that you remember or can infer what harmonies you heard at the time. There's not really a great solution except recording until we (hopefully) get a device that can convert our brainwave thought music into an orchestration. I would love that!

Amen breaking all conventions of what drums should be, the amen break is an incredible drum solo that has been enormously sampled over many musics. Even said to be the most, although I can't say for sure. Though, many people will use it to kinda amen break any proper rhythm writing by spamming and amen breaking it into chops which makes it a bit ridiculous although sometimes it's incredible. There are straight up piano rolls soundfont that are the different part of the amen break just so you can use the bits directly as they are already amen broken.
