Abu Dhabi International Airport's Southern Runway expansion and Airside Tunnel make progress

Fantastic progress is being made with four key projects at Abu Dhabi International Airport, as this video illustrates.
The refurbishment of the Southern Airfield, which is being widened to accommodate Etihad's new A380, is one of the key new pieces of infrastructure in Abu Dhabi at the moment. Another key project shown in this video is phase one of the Midfield Airside Tunnel, which will pass beneath the Southern Runway, offering a vital link between the South Terminals and the new Midfield Terminal.
Hear Programme Director Tony Chisnall discuss these great projects, as well as the new cargo stands, taxi ways and hard stands which are being constructed.
The footage also includes shots showing the exciting progress, and various project managers praising the enthusiasm, skill and determination of the teams behind the great work at Abu Dhabi International Airport.
