Display technology today can fake parallax of a landscape/planetscape such as this, by tracking your eye position throughout the room. Unfortunately, I'm a senior with several disabilities including cancer and neuropathy. I'm pretty much a shut-in, so I've tried to make my living arrangements as convenient and as entertaining as possible. So ... I have 2 desktops, a laptop, 3 tablets, 4 monitors, 800+ movies, 3,000 documentaries, well over 10,000 episodes of television, from Star Trek TOS to the CIS to NCIS to Game of Thrones to South Park to Family Guy and onward. I've done what I can ... so when I see these space bedroom scenes -- I can't tell you how many times I thought that, barring the need for food, I could exist in my bedroom out in space where I know I won't be bothered. Funny how life can steal all the good things away and STILL leave you with all the bad. I can see why some people regard our lives here as the real Hell -- not some generic, one-dimensional "torture with fire forever" scenario. I always think I'm weird or ... alone ... at the least unique in thinking about floating around in space in just my room with all my stuff. And then I find channels like this and realize ... nope. I'm not as screwed up as I thought. I would LOVE to have a room like the one on this channel -- a bed full of pillows, a nice, plush carpet, technology everywhere. As long as I had the ability to change the room's direction -- so I could have the big window looking out into the darkness of empty space when I wished ... that would be awesome. Oh yeah ... and I'd need a desktop and a nice big television/monitor to play games on, etc. etc.

16th March 2160. I finally got called. I applied for a place on the star settler programme two years ago, and my call up came back in December. Our destination is the planet Helgan, in the Dolmar system, right on the edge of explored space. We have been on board this ship since January. If I look out of my window, I can see my former home of Earth. I won't miss it. I signed up for the space settler programme because I want to try something new. Don't get me wrong, Earth is a beautiful place, but it just doesn't suit my lifestyle. I am joined on this ship by a ship's crew of two hundred, the number of settlers is 8,000, and there's plenty of room for us all, but then, this ship is a former cruise liner. Despite the constant hum of the engines, it's actually very peaceful here. I have said if we weren't going to colonize a new world, I'd be happy to live on this ship. It's very comfortable and spacious. I will end my journal entry here, I want to go down to dinner. I just hope our new life on Helgan will be just as pleasant.

This is one "Spaced Out" bedroom for sure. Haven't a clue what all these instruments are but the Laptop could come in handy.. No Internet on board but the E.T.'s state They utilize Alien/Net for Computer activities. Oddly enough I'm not stressed or uncomfortable as I thought I would be.. :}
These videos are amazing. But if you're the artist I have one request. May we see unique designs for the beds? Maybe some kind of futuristic concept. Everything else is perfect. I'm reminded of mid level department stores like Walmart when I look at these beds. No offense. Just constructive, friendly criticism.
Haha I actually love the bed as is. Anything too futuristic might not be cozy. I love the contrast of the futuristic room with the old fashioned cozy bed. Might lose the comfy vibe if the bed is different. My 2 cents.
