The way you explain when you are teaching is amazing. If I had never crocheted anything except potholders, I could follow this tutorial. And you are the ONLY teacher that doesn't make me absolutely nuts when explaining to beginners. I love your tutorials and I have so many saved I will still be at it when I am 90! Just wanted you to know how appreciated you are.

Kati, what I do is watch all of Crystal's tutorials along with the ads. If you save the tutorial without watching, she doesn't earn any revenue. Crystal has mentioned that very few people watch her tutorials. You can even put a tutorial on play and go to bed. I want Crystal to make enough money that she continues to make videos. Just my two cents.

Hello from Canada. I truly love your tutorials Crystal as I've made many of your items. I only crochet from utube which is ok as there are so many beautiful things to make. I started making this shawl this morning. I'm going to be making 5 of these shawls for low income seniors ladies in a nursing home. To date I've already made 25 shawls & my goal is 40 by Nov. I'm making 5 shawls per design & not duplicating the colors so the ladies know which shawl is theirs. I'm making some in solid colors & others in bright cheery variegated colors. Can you imagine how bright & colorful all these lovely ladies will look sitting around chatting. I'm so excited to get these done. Also I recently completed 15 colorful lapghans for the men in the same nursing home. What a bright party that will be. LOL

I tend to forget how to start a row even if I've done it multiple times and being able to click on the row to take me to the right place on the video is amazing! I wish more tutorials would do that! Next, I am loving, LOVING this pattern! Super easy and I am loving how it is turning out! Third, I would love this pattern for a blanket!!! How to turn at then end and how to make the pattern work as blanket. It would be a beautiful blanket and this pattern goes very quickly so the blanket would progress pretty fast. This is probably one of my favorite patterns I've done so far!

I would be totally challenging myself to make this...I have a beautiful sparkle yarn that is 208 yards of 87% wool and 10% acrylic---I have five skeins which should be plenty. It is the most $$ I've spent on yarn at this cute little shop. You are such a good teacher. Once I FINISH, I will post pics on IG. Based on your close ups of your yarn, I think mine is as thin as yours as mine is not super thick so, I think I can knock this out. I'm 5ft 6in so may have to make mine a tad larger. I'm excited and nervous at the same time...it's a commitment:-)

Thanks again Crystal 😊 I made mine this week in Heartland's Glacier Bay.. the picot edges finished it off so beautifully!
    It's a gift for this Christmas 🎄

Just bought and printed this pattern!!! Going to make this one for me! Something I rarely do. Thanks so much Crystal for all you do. I have learned SO much from your tutorials. You have inspired me and encouraged me to try new stitches and patterns I usually would shy away from. My confidence is increasing with every video of yours I watch. I have to confess. I watch them over and over again :) Much love from southeastern coastal NC Sandra Colson

Love it. I'm doing it in Stylecraft Cabaret, color Lagoon--dark blues, greys, to silver with metalic running through. So far, so good..
