The meaning is Indonesia exist 800 years ago with peace of life. We called nusantara with majapahit kingdom. Early 1600 colonialism destroy us for 350 years. We have independence on 17 august 1945. The bird was flying is Garuda, our symbol for freedom and hope for us. Thanks for your reaction!
You are right, during colonialism we try to fight for freedom but not well organised (represented by blue dragon) and they are just too strong and we fail buttehy can not kill the spirit for freedom (representing by that three blades weapon), since 1908 we start the different strategy to fight. in 1928 all the man and woman declare our unity as a nation and country using one agreed language Indonesia. Then the fight continue by diplomatic and actual war together. By August 1945 along with the end of world war II we proclaimed our independence. Present day we are still in the journey to our dream country peacefull, harmony and social justice for al the people of Indonesia like some 800 years ago. NUSANTARA. Tunggadewi, the greatest queen of Majapahit. Her reign was the era when the kingdom of Majapahit reached its height which encompassed modern Indonesia.
The glowing circle (Surya Majapahit) symbolizes the kingdom of Majapahit, as it was truly their national symbol.
It begins with the show of culture of Bali (where Majapahit's culture still exist until now). It rolls around the Javanese, Sumatran, and other cultures that come along across Majapahit's rule. It also showcases the arrival of Islamic culture in Indonesia, through Arab-like culture near the end of the culture story.
The twin headed dragon that comes after it represents Europe (Portuguese, Spanish, Dutch, French, British) and Japan.
The blue glowing dragon symbolizes Antaboga, the primordial dragon of Indonesia, which protects Indonesia.
The fight between the dragons depicts the fight between the European and Japanese colonials against our heroes.
And everybody knows that European and Japanese colonials won the fight, so the blue glowing dragon is defeated.
The destruction and fires the twin head dragon inflict represents the colonial period, full of fires, blood, and tears.
The trident represents "Satrio Piningit", the great knight said to defeat his enemies and restore peace, order, and prosperity. Many people consider President Sukarno as "Satrio Piningit", the great knight, who finally fought for Indonesian independence.
After independence, we have been adopting the Garuda, which is depicted by the flying giant bird, as our national symbol.
The Garuda stands above five emeralds, which stands for "Pancasila" (five pillars), our national ideology since independence.

The singers come from across diversity that Indonesia has, with more than 700 ethnic groups and 6 religions.

Nusantara is Indonesia. It’s what we called it before Indonesia named after the independence. The green light emblem on the early scene was Majapahit Empire emblem, the biggest empire in Nusantara around late 12th centuries. One oh its General called Gajah Mada made a promise to the King that he will unite all the empire across Nusantara into one. Majapahit, a Hinduism-Budish empire, rule around 200 years until it fallen and replaced with an Islamic Empire, Demak in early 15th centuries. The second scene of the Age of Destruction it portrayed of the colonization era from mid 15th centuries by The Dutch. For around 350 years, the dutch colonized Nusantara until 1942 before Japan came and ruin it another 3 years just to end it after their country nuked by The US. The scene of the two-headed dragon is portrayed by the colonization and the fallen of Majapahit Era. Then comes the tribute scene, before the fighting for independence scene when Alffy took the Trisula wrapped by the indonesian flag. The Bird is called Garuda, which is coming from the ideology of Indonesia.it has five pillars oh Indonesia philosophy called Pancasila.
