Tim Conway (changed his name from Tom, because there was an English actor by that name) must have been a very pleasant man, with an infectious sense of humour. And is obviously remembered as a nice person by the elderly gentleman who knew him many years ago.
Once more, Wikipedia had to come to my aid - I did not know Tim Conway. It appears that he was mainly active in TV series (such as the Carol Burnett Show) and in a handful of Disney films, The Apple Dumpling Gang etc., none of which I have ever seen. Wikipedia mentions a few incidents on shows, when he managed to make his co-stars laugh uncontrollably by telling absurd stories without breaking character, and many of them, Carol Burnett being one, remembered him fondly later.
A son of Chagrin Falls who was nice, famous and well liked.

He often mentioned Chagrin, the Chagrin Hardware and the Shutts family when he appeared on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. He wore a CFHS sweatshirt on McHale's Navy and used the name of the town as a punchline.

Mr. Carlton Lived on East Orange Street, not Franklin. I lived next door to the Conways. By the way, excellent job on all your stuff!
