By the way Farida you bought a good italian extra virgin olive oil and thats the correct price for the quality they sell at supermarkets and for hair purposes. Can you do a video going more into the properties of different oils and oil in general? I ask this because I literally just went on someone's channel where she had a whole video on why no one should use coconut oil ever on their hair. In the comments you should have seen the level of debate. People were like it depends on your poorosity. Others were like coconut oil should never be used on any part of the body ever. Please do a video on how to use ghee. Do you use cloves on your hair I see everybody on RUclips using cloves? I love ❤️ all of your videos I always learn something new watching your video
Hi sis, congrats on the pregnancy! Just an FYI: in reviewing the olive oils in the Morrison isle you stated (at 3:59) that the light bottle of filipo berio was 'more nutrient dense'. This is actually not correct as that specific bottle of felipio berio is a mix of highly refined olive oil and virgin oil. The less refined = more nutrient dense.
You are correct. We want unrefined oils, dark in color. Refined oils are never good because all of the nutrients have been stripped from it during the high heat process.

I know Indian people swear by it for hair. But, I don't have their hair type so I'm going with what works for my hair. Everything isn't for everyone.
Hi Fareeda, I absolutely love the Fenugreek Elixir, but due to coconut sensitivity I can't use it. Do you have any plans to make the Elixir without coconut for those people who can't use coconut?

yes vatika is a tricky brand i avoid it, dont trust them as i aways read the labels in their store and all their products i picked up had synthetic or harmful ingredients in them
Hi Queen CP, before applying the oils for all daily nourishing purposes should we mist our hair first follow by applying the oils or go straight in with applying the oils to the scalp and ends for hydration?
I just decided a couple weeks ago (before I watched this) to follow your OG hair routine and then in this one you say it was overkill. Too late! I’m already committed😂
Heeey CP 😃 thoroughly enjoyed the informative shopping trip! I feel smarter hanging out with you 👍🏽That's a shame about Vatika. TBHQ sounds scary. For the first time, I just purchased the green bottle of Vatika enriched coconut hair oil because of henna and amla ingredients. I noticed you said you used to use this brand. Why did you stop? Should I not try using this?
Thanks so much for the video. Ghee is so good. I even used to use it on my skin as well.I get the milk butter from my village from grass fed cow owners and cook it on low heat to get ghee. It’s good for cooking as well. Love rice cooked with ghee.Ghee is good.
Question for you....I realize that avocado oil isn't generally considered budget friendly, but is it considered a suitable or better option over olive oil? What does your research dictate about using it in the scalp for massages compared to olive, castor or ghee?
The garlic in the oil.. was good information.. I never liked Vatika.. always had mineral oil.. hate u wasted your money.. I use Shea butter but never realized cocoa butter was as moisturizing.. so I will add to regimen.. I have grey hair and need all the moisture I can get.. thank u
I have been wanting to try ghee on my hair for a while. On my journey to find natural products, years ago, I heard about ghee mixed with herbs for hair use. We were already eating it, so why not try it

I know right! 🤯 Not everything should be adopted. There are so many oils with beneficial nutrients that I don't need to use butter. I'll save my butter for cooking which is where it shines!
Ghee is different. Yes, it's clarified butter, but that's what makes its properties and nutrients unique. I know Indian people swear by it for hair. But, I don't have their hair type so I'm going with what works for my hair. Everything isn't for everyone.
@@coriebarnes8680 Ethiopians also used butter in their hair.

That's interesting. Some hair routines are common in multiple regions of the world. Thanks for the insight.

Wonderful. Thank You for taking the time to make this video.
Hi Fareeda, I absolutely love the Fenugreek Elixir, but due to coconut sensitivity I can't use it. Do you have any plans to make the Elixir without coconut for those people who can't use coconut?
Very informative. I look forward to seeing more of these videos. Peace and Blessings.
I love this type of videos!!!! Thanks for the knowledge sis 😃

Love this video Farida. I need to be more consistent in oiling my hair. Now inspired to buy a jar of ghee and try on my hair. 🥰
Can you please do a video on how you used the ghee butter? Would love to see that! ❤
always bring the knowledge, THANKS SIS................................
Thx 💟for the oil rundown. Butter video next please. (I AM Readying myself to mix in simple ingredients into my deep conditioner mix.🎉) fyi I love using the liquid (tea bags for the win) instead of the paste process. I find it So hard to get those smaller bits off my hair strands. Ugh. So I make the liquid instead. I put it in to my shampoo and in to my conditioner ; and into my deep conditioner. Not a fan of DIY leave in conditioners with out washing it out. I rather leave in the oils and butters. 😊 happy healthy scalp and hair journey 😊 💕stay well 💕
yes vatika is a tricky brand i avoid it, dont trust them as i aways read the labels in their store and all their products i picked up had synthetic or harmful ingredients in them
Hi Queen CP, before applying the oils for all daily nourishing purposes should we mist our hair first follow by applying the oils or go straight in with applying the oils to the scalp and ends for hydration?
I just decided a couple weeks ago (before I watched this) to follow your OG hair routine and then in this one you say it was overkill. Too late! I’m already committed😂
Great video!👍🏽👍🏽
Heeey CP 😃 thoroughly enjoyed the informative shopping trip!
I feel smarter hanging out with you 👍🏽That's a shame about Vatika. TBHQ sounds scary.
For the first time, I just purchased the green bottle of Vatika enriched coconut hair oil because of henna and amla ingredients.
I noticed you said you used to use this brand. Why did you stop? Should I not try using this?
The Vatika was the first aryvedic coconut oil I used over 10 years ago. I have been in love with aryvedics since. I make up my own.
Thanks so much for the video. Ghee is so good. I even used to use it on my skin as well.I get the milk butter from my village from grass fed cow owners and cook it on low heat to get ghee. It’s good for cooking as well. Love rice cooked with ghee.Ghee is good.
Okay I need to make my henna amla and hibiscus oil again!
Also need to find a Beyer way to incorporate oiling while in extensions.
I saw ghee butter today I knew I should've got it
Question for you....I realize that avocado oil isn't generally considered budget friendly, but is it considered a suitable or better option over olive oil? What does your research dictate about using it in the scalp for massages compared to olive, castor or ghee?
I’ve found mixing avocado and olive oil to be superb for my hair. I’m about to do a hot oil treatment tonight using them both.
Can you do a keratin treatment on your hair if you used your Henna Hair Mask?
The garlic in the oil.. was good information.. I never liked Vatika.. always had mineral oil.. hate u wasted your money.. I use Shea butter but never realized cocoa butter was as moisturizing.. so I will add to regimen.. I have grey hair and need all the moisture I can get.. thank u
Thank you!
I have been wanting to try ghee on my hair for a while. On my journey to find natural products, years ago, I heard about ghee mixed with herbs for hair use. We were already eating it, so why not try it
Hey! Curly Proverbz. Great video. Watching from Toronto, Ontario Canada. How do you incorporate the ghee butter in your hair routine?
I like your hair oil. Just wish it had a better dropper. Other than that glad I finally bought it.
Thanks for sharing
Thank you! This format is a great way to learn and quickly implement.
Would you suggest adding coca butter to deep conditioner [or ayurvedic powder] for high porosity? hair?
