I love your idea to put a reusable shopping bag inside of your granny square bag. I've made a couple of crochet market bags that are really pretty but I hardly use them because they stretch out so much; now I can use them, plus now I have to make a couple with granny squares too! Thanks so much!
I’m so glad to see you back girl 😜 missed you here! Now tell us about your visit from mom and everything you did 😛 Btw I love all your granny stuff. I definitely would love a full tutorial on how you did the whole big square on the bag 🙏🏻😝🥰 I love how you put these around an already made bag. I love how you turned a bra bag into a project bag 😜 you know you could always make a little slit hole on the very top of the bra bag where your yarn could come through the top of that and the granny square 😍😁
Hello. You are welcome to make a video on how you crochet your bag in granny squares. Really clever with a bag inside. Funny idea. Thanks for sharing your projects. Greetings from Birgitta in Sweden
Yess! Do a circle-back-again video!!! You can't see me I'm jumping in my seat, and that's hard to do when you're 65 and your knees are bad and your ankles got wrecked by taking do antibiotic rounds of Levaquin in the '80s - everything else I did to myself in the 80s was apparently okay, but not the antibiotic that I trusted to get me over chronic bronchitis/pneumonia. I wondered why they hurt so much and why it seemed like I wasn't even used to having them. They just never did work the same again now I'm wondering what all the high potassium content did to my kidneys. Sorry that was a slightly dark trip down memory lane but I'm going to leave it there so nobody has to feel like they're alone. I feel a kindred spirit in your practical craftiness and freewheeling inspirational musings. I will probably be here as long as you are.... cuz remember I said the rest of the stuff I did in the 80s didn't hurt me so, I'm fine! Live long and prosper, everybody!
I am inspired! Just 13:13 found you! I love the fact that you have moved to Bangkok and continue your crochet craft. I like the concept of covering plastic totes. I also love crystal! I am 70 and am always learning new things.
I've just found your channel and love this video! I crochet a fair bit and seeing the bags has given me some great ideas. I'll be following your videos to see what else you're up to! ( New subscriber from the UK! ) ❤
Love your creativity!! The bags are sooo cute! Yes I would love to learn about the square to circle/circle to square "recipe". Thanks for sharing the crochet cuteness😀 #newSub
I made a bunch of round circles and am overwhelmed about how to make a square shape around them. I know it can't be that hard, but I'm not ready to sit down and tackle them. So a video would be great! Good Idea for the granny square bags.
Please don’t buy from TEMU……their stuff is made in reeducation camps. The cheap cost is to the poor people stuck in the camps with no hope of ever leaving.
Hi I am new to your channel. Ran across it and decided to see what it is all about. Thanks for sharing! Looking forward to your next video. Have a wonderful weekend! 🙂😘❤🧶
Do you know how to make a button for that bag you hadda make a purple half square for? O, and now u showed us t he big messenger... Anybody else? Here ya go.... Start with a magic circle, or chain 1 into your Slipknot Loop, using a " d e f g " rsnge size hook - probably one hook size down from what you use to make the granny squares, or according on how you know your tension to be then chain 2 Loosely; or 2 ightly and the 3rd, loosely; - start making double crochets in a circle DONT CHAIN BETWEEN and make sure there is no slack in the upper part of your Stitch when you get done with each one, or between them. There are a few places along the way to completing a double crochet that you can rein in the slack. so do it. In this case, it will cause your double crochet to bow up. Or down. Whatever... but you can just stick your finger in there, as you complete your round and attach it with a slip stitch do your beginning Stitch that remember I said to do loosely, There should be sufficient bowing, or curl over if you prefer that term, that if you anchored the center of this little creation to the bag, it should be enough button to stick through the last corner hole on your "lid"/ purse flap. If you don't think this will be enough because it didn't curve enough upon itself, then you can yarn up a yarn needle and sew your end through the tops of the stitches all the way around and cinch it in to make a tighter or smaller button, that is a little bit less of a mushroom. I think it will actually "live" longer if you do. Of course, you can always place the button a little bit lower ( I don't think it's necessary, and might mess up the style aspect, but you be the judge you like what you like so, do you), AND MAKE A LOOP from a chain row long enough to loop around the button, on the LID.POINT . Pull up a loop from the back to the front at the tip of the half granny point and make your chain. Tie off and hide your ends in the back. Loop 'n Button style works like "hukt awn foniks werkt fur mee". PURFIKTLEE!
@@Krislovescrochet Purse flaps are kind of annoying when they stick out and don't really hold anything in if you should tumble, or the strap breaks, or it gets jostled on a sharp curve - or swerve - cuz All manner of people drive, and, they let them! I started putting in zippers, or making buttons for my hobo bags cuz I was tired of picking stuff up off the floorboard if I had to avoid a cyclist or even a motorcycle that came out of nowhere pushing the boundaries of the law in where they decided to drive.
